When you use this product the first time, it seems and feels great on your hair. It takes away frizz and looks amazing and manageable, you will love it as I did... BUT, the SILICONES on it will build up on your hair, preventing it from receiving hydration and moisture, so in the long run, it will completely RUIN your hair, leaving it with a lot of frizz, no shine, dehydrated and damaged. For me it's too late, but if you're reading this now, you're still on time to save your hair. Really expensive product to have such a bad quality.Buy a NON silicone, and NON sulphate product instead. I highly recommend using this smoothing lotion. I already use the Moroccan oil, but I just felt that my hair needed more moisture. I use one pump for my hair which is just above shoulder length and apply it to towel dried before blow drying. When my hair is three quarters dry, I then use a little of the Moroccan oil to make sure that my hair does not dry out.Since using this product, I have noticed much difference. My hair feels more full, not so dry, soft to the touch, and looks very healthy. I was introduced to this product by a hairdresser in Maui who noticed my frizzy hair. I asked if she could recommend any product to calm down my hair. This product and the Moroccan Oil were recommended. After the hairdresser used both products on me after trimming my hair, I was sold! This is the only product I’ve found to calm down my hair, not make it greasy and to put “life” back in my hair. I’ve always had straight, fine and limp hair but as I’ve gotten older it’s gotten very frizzy (I’m 60). This product is amazing and you only need to use very small amounts. I highly recommend. Moroccan-oil Smoothing Lotion is the best product to give your hair not only a shiny smooth finish but also is resistant to high humidity. Living in humid South Louisiana, hair products (not diamonds) are a girls best friend. Having tried many others I can say without exception, Moroccan-oil is the best. This is a lighter formula than any MO conditioner. It really tames the "grey strays" that come with old age. Leaves hair soft, shiny, but not weighed down or "gooey" feeling. The smell? This product was recommended by the woman who cuts my hair. It is supplied as a hand-pump bottle (not a spray can). You're supposed to be able to turn the pump shaft to release it, so the pump handle pops up & it can be used. I was unable to free up the pump shaft, so I could use the pump. I took it in to my stylist, who couldn't get it open either - she said this is a common problem with this Moroccan Oil product. This is absolutely fantastic. Can't recommend this enough. Amazing results. My hair is straight soft and smells gorgeous, with volume. So glad I tried it. My hair is quite thin and flyaway. Goes frizzy easily and never looks straight or good no matter what I do. This is expensive but I use a small 5p size blob and I have shoulder length hair that I wash 3 xs per weeks so it should last a long time.
