I have dark hair and I’ve always hated dry shampoo because it leaves my hair looking dull from the white powder. I wanted to try this because it specifically said it was for dark hair and my hairdresser recommended it. I will say this does go on white like other dry shampoos, BUT once you massage it into your scalp or let it sit and absorb all the oils, it disappears. I didn’t find that it left my hair dull either. Dry shampoo can be tricky for some people. I would recommend using it before bed that way it has time to absorb oil over night and you’ll wake up and not have to massage it in or brush it out. Also if you look at some of the pictures people are posting they are literally spraying half the bottle on their head...like of course it’s going to be a thick white powdery mess - You don’t need that much! Spray it where your hair usually looks oily (along your part, maybe an inch or two out from your roots, along your hairline/face). Again you don’t need a lot! I am Korean and it's been difficult to find a dry shampoo that 1.) absorbed oil; 2.) did not weigh down my hair; 3.) did not leave gray residue; and, 4.) did not make my head feel greasy and gross. Soooo glad I found Moroccan Oil Dry Shampoo because it works wonderfully on my hair.I have only used Moroccan DS in lieu of washing my hair when I'm out camping with my hair in a no muss, no fuss ponytail. I have not tried to skip a wash and style my hair for work or to go out ...yet. I can say that when camping, this stuff is fantastic! I've gone three summer days without washing my hair and although my tresses did not feel "clean" upon returning home (sand & campfire smoke definitely didn't help), they didn't look greasy either AND they stayed very well in my ponytail holder without using hairspray.I have traditional Asian hair (sleek & heavy) that gets oily quite quickly (I have to wash my hair everyday - no exception ...until now, when camping ;)). After blow drying my hair, an application of Moroccan DS afterward adds texture to my hair and has helped keep my hair looking fantastic through out the very hot summer days. When it is hot like this it is not uncommon for my hair to start looking greasy by the end of the day. A chore to wash & style again if I want to go out in the evening. So glad I found this product! Not for dark hair! This product actually makes you look gray! I’m not sure if I got a defective bottle or what but you can see the color in the second photo as it comes out. It’s like skin tone color. And you can see in the picture with the actual scalp that I sprayed a stripe and now it actually looks gray and like there’s balding on top. It was so crazy! Yes, this product is on the pricier side. The can is small. I had it in my amazon cart for months and kept 'saving it for later,' but I finally bit the bullet I have long hair and can get somewhere between 5-7 uses from it. With shorter hair you could definitely get more. Bottom line though: it is worth it!My hair is dark brown and purple. I've tried other dry shampoos (salon graphics, pureology, etc.), but they all seem to either strip the color from my hair, leave a white residue, or just make my hair feel heavier/greasier than it already did.Moroccanoil dry shampoo actually makes my hair feel more clean. PROS: Smells Great! and doesn't leave any grayish dust near your roots after you tousle your hair.CONS: It's the color of spray tan.. brownish orange and drips out of the nozzle after every use. It can stain your hands. But my biggest disappointment is how much it weighs down my hair. I have a pixie cut and like to use dry shampoo about every other day, but it leaves a film of sorts on each strand and is easily matted flat. I'd rather go back to washing my hair every day instead of using this product. It's like a thick matte feeling.. would it makes sense if I said grease get.. dry? I’d been looking for a dry shampoo for a while. I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days but lately it’s been getting quite greasy by the morning of the second day. I have a fringe which is the main culprit of the oiliness and medium thick straight long hair. I’ve tried a few cheaper brands but the scents tend to be quite overpowering to me like a strong powdery perfume.I use the Moroccanoil treatment and like the smell and had hopes that this would smell the same and it does. It has a brown tint that does help to blend in dark hair, especially compared to other brands that are white and gives that dandruff look if not brushed through thoroughly. The problem is that when blending it in with my fingers I have to wash my hands straight away as it leaves a light brown residue on my fingertips that transfers. Brushing is definitely the way to go with this one.I find that it does refresh hair a little but I never felt that it was even close to being ‘just washed’ dry as others do. It’s more like maintaining second day hair, just enough to get through the day but will need washing in the evening.Overall I would say that I did enjoy using it, probably the nicest one I’ve tried so far as it leaves my hair quite soft. I do think it’s a bit expensive for what it is and because the product is so fine, I did feel that I had to use more that I would with other sprays to get a good result. I’d definitely buy again but probably only when on sale and even then I’d only use it for dire emergencies on a special occasion. It’s just not in my budget for regular use unfortunately. Read more

Always a bit disappointed when I order and reorder this...have they changed the recipe? I usually love the smell of Moroccan Oil products including this as bought previously, but this is just ok this time.
