This really is a great camera option on a budget. Works just as well for me as a system double the price (like I had previously). I plug the monitor in each night, so I don't have battery life issues. But I did notice that it loses charge after about 18 hours of use. I purchased this extra camera so I could hear my newborn cry if he is in the bassinet in my room (one camera is in his room, another in my older girl's room). Read more
This is great to keep an eye on my 4 month old when he's sleeping and I'm running around the house doing chores. Picture quality is amazing, sounds pretty good too. Battery life is a little shorter than I would prefer but it usually lasts from when I put him down at night to when I go to bed. Read more

Got this as a baby shower gift for our first baby... I gotta say without a doubt just by researching all the different options, brands, etc. While pregnant, this is definitely my fav. Great picture quality, picks up the faintest noises, if your little one easily calms to the sound of your voice, you can press and hold the talk button like a walkie talkie and just talk to them. Out of fear it would die in the middle of the night I made the mistake of keeping mine plugged in at night and I think it ruined the battery so I actually just bought a replacement battery for the parent unit but other then that I give 10 stars all the way around not 5!
