I purchased this kit to wax my hooha at home. I am a regular at waxing salons, so my hair and I had some idea of what to expect.I was impressed with the amount (and size options!) of strips. I liked the smell of the wax. I read the directions and felt confident. I pulled the cornstarch out of the pantry (to dust myself), put a towel on the kitchen floor, and went to town. I know, the kitchen sounds weird, but I wanted to be close to the microwave. 10 seconds didn't quite get it for me, so I stuck it in for three seconds longer. AND THEN IT WAS HOT! Fickle stuff. I had to microwave the jar again over the course of this experiment, so the kitchen was a good idea.Spreading the wax and ripping off the strips was a breeze. I found the pain to be less than the salons. It was a lot like a biore pore strip, except it wasn't. Did it get ALL of my hair? No, but I chalk that up to a learning curve. It was challenging to get all up in there on myself, but I think this will get easier with practice.I'm a BELIEVER, y'all! I texted all of my friends who wax to share my excitement.I think this jar will last for 4-5 waxes. That comes out to about $3 per wax vs $65 per salon trip? SIGN ME UP!!! Read more

Just tried it tonight and am completely converted. I've tried professional waxing, which is a hassle to schedule and sometimes really pricey. I've mostly relied on an electric epilator for close to a decade, and occasionally I'll just do a quick electric shave. I tried waxing at home a long time ago and it was hooooorrrible -- so painful, stopped partway and...well, that's just not great.I tried this tonight on my bikini area and it was so easy. Less painful than any of the above. I did notice that it's a little uneven, so I will have to try to figure it out, but I am fully converted.I heated for 10 seconds and then did another 10. After that, I microwaved one more time at 10 seconds. The whole thing took about 15 minutes? I did end up using wayyyy more strips than I expected and will be getting more becuase it was much easier and faster when using a clean strip. I tested on my fine belly hair first to make sure there was no adverse reaction. Also took some breaks while doing it to wash up with warm water, then resumed. Reeeally pleased!I've always gotten mild rashes after removing hair from my bikini area no matter what approach was used (all the above), so not too worried about the slight red bumps. If my previous experience gives any insight, the powder I applied should make it go away by tomorrow or at least in the next couple days.I will try it again in a few months and try to follow-up if I remember. Very happy customer. Read more

Ok so. There are three types of sugaring pastas. Soft, medium and hard. This one is soft and it should be used with the fabric strips only. Follow the directions. If you are really hairy and your hair is thick you should look into buying other brand or type. How I used it. Warmed the whole jar on microwave for 10 seconds. Wash and dry your skin. Apply babypowder - it’s a must! It has to remove the oil from the skin and prepare it for the future hair removal so paste will not stick! Applied the thin layer against the hair grow. If your hair is thin it will get fixed in the paste. But mine is thick so they got back in the direction even under paste. So then I put a fabric strip and slide it a little against the grow again so it will get fixed under the strip. Stretch the skin and FAST remove the strip in the direction parallel the skin and ALONG the hair grow. That’s the meaning of sugaring. Because you remove it ALONG the hair grow it’s less painful and less irritating. Then remove the excess of paste with warm water from the skin and disinfect it.If you want to do sugar waxing with your hands with no strip, I repeat, buy another brand and make sure it’s MEDIUM or HARD (for thick hair or deep bikini) paste. I have really thick hair under the armpit and not only and it took me an hour to do it. But it was the first time after shaving. If you want to get your hair thinner and less - forget about shaving. I believe it will take around 3-5 sessions to make it happen but it’s def worth it! Read more

I am really surprised how much I like this. I used to get my waxing done at European Wax Center and got this just to see how I liked doing it myself. I had intentions of getting the hard wax like the center and even had everything ready in my cart, but have since decided why move on from something that’s working so well? I do my face, underarms and bikini area with minimal residual hair, and what’s left is mostly because it’s too short and needs to be tweezed instead.I prefer warming it in water, bringing it to a simmer and then leaving the burner on very low; that typically leaves it a good temperature and more tacky than liquid, which I find works more effectively for me. The strips are easy to clean (I just stick them in the pot of hot water as I go to melt the wax off and then rinse them under water when finished, laying to dry) and hold up well. Great product! So I love this product. I did my legs and my daughters eyebrows and I am pleased with both. I just did them so will update on how long I stay hair free. So the bad, it took almost the entire jar 6 oz jar to do the bottom half of my legs. Another problem I ran into was not having enough strips. I had to wash them and let them dry and then continue on. It was a two day process to do my lower legs. I could have taken less time because I live in California and it’s 95 degrees out side right now but still more strips would be nice. The best thing about this is that it is soluble. Just get a towel, wet it and bam wipes right off. I already ordered the 12 oz jar. I’m never going back to hot wax. Just warm it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds and you are good to go. No more burning hot wax. Read more

This is brilliant! I’ve made my own sugar mix before but this is superior, perhaps just the consistency is perfected. It takes leg hair out beautifully and with barely any pain. I’m struggling with armpits but I think that’s just technique which I need to develop. Really pleased with this purchase!Should be noted that the cloth strips should not be washed in the machine but soaked and rinsed in the sink. Read more

Love this product. It was easy to use, just heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds (don't exceed the 10 seconds as the product will become too syrupy. It is not meant to be like a hot wax) and make sure to spread thin layers of the sugar wax to be stripped. I found it a lot less painful than normal waxing strips. With previous waxing strips I've been unable to continue but this I completed both legs. Love that this is easily washed off with water and the reusable strips are easily soaked and then rinsed off to be used again. Saves on money and the environment. I found this a great product for me and only wish I had discovered Moom hair removal method sooner! Read more

Mayby its because im just a bit bad at doing it, but spreading it out in ''paper thin'' layers, as mentioned in the intructions, seams to be rather difficult to do, resulting in me having used around 2/5's of the liquid, and only mannaged to do 2/3 of the pubic area, and 1/5 of my lower legs.If it last for up to 2 months as claimed, i do not know yet. I have no idea how did I live so many years without knowing that there was something like MOOM. This is a brilliant product, completely free of nasty ingredients, cruelty free and so easy to use and effective. Once you get used to using it, the mess is minimum and the benefits are obvious straight away, your skin looks much better (forget those long hours of redness after waxing) and the hair grows a little bit slower and weaker (I believe this will improve over time). Brilliant. totally worth the price. Read more

The product itself is good, the package comes with everything you need and I liked the reusable strips. It's a little pricey and doesn't go very far in terms of product per use if you plan on doing your legs. For small areas (face, bikini, underarms), this quantity would stretch further.Important Warning: There is a technique that is incredibly important. Even after you've read the instructions, watch some youtube videos! I studied and studied and ended up looking like I ran tuffmudder a few hours after I was done. Basically, if you don't hold your skin perfectly taut, you will bruise the heck out of yourself. The bruises take a little while to appear so you'll continue doing your whole leg thinking you've got it down to a fine art before seeing the horror scene you've created. Try doing a small less noticeable area to get it down before jumping into full-body sugaring. Read more
