First off, I’m a 22 year old woman. I’ve been getting my nails done for years. At home, at the nail salon. I’ve NEVER had any issues. I bought a ModelOnes gel nail kit with the LED lamp back in October 2020. It was great for the first few months!! Saved me many trips to the nail salon. BUT, recently, the last few times I’ve used the polishes, my fingers have been so incredibly itchy. I immediately took the polish off and 4 days later they have only gotten worse. Two of my fingers have puss coming out, my cuticles are swollen and red, and there are little keratosis bumps on every single finger. I’ve tried everything to get the reaction to stop. Nothing has made it better. At this point I’m going to see my doctor. THE INGREDIENT TO WATCH OUT FOR IS METHACRYLATE!!! Rich in color, cures 90sec in the uv lamp but the size is pretty small. When average polish size is 15 ml the Modelones is only 7ml. I do suggest to always prep ur nails with Dehydrator and primer before any nail additive weather it be extensions or just gel polish. Fyi the color swatches were only one coat and painted over clear nails. I suggest two coats and/or natural tone nail tips will come out way bolder. Read more

My experience with these were great! Now before I get into it all I will say I see different reviews on these, good and bad, but trust me they are great if you know how to apply correctly. Prep, prep, prep and do not let it touch the skin. That will make it come off and peel. Leave a hair thin area from skin and nail.I first wash my hands, push back and trim my cubicals, shape (these are my natural nails by the way, I have been taking care of them, but I will also use poly gel extensions sometimes), finally I wipe my nails with acetone (nail polish remover or you can use dehydrator). Once all done with that I start the application process. Base coat, 2 layers of the color choice, and top coat. The one pictured I added rhinestones as well. This is my second time doing my nails with this set, but I can not emphasize enough how much you need to apply the polish correctly or it will peel off. First time I used the light beige one and it lasted 3 weeks and it could have lasted longer, but I wanted to change it up.When I first started doing my nails I didn’t know about the application process and my polish would peel and it would not last long. Let me explain some thing I am very skilled at doing my own nails and have been doing it for probably a year to two years. This nail polish is not good. I first noticed when I put a layer on use the gel curing lamp and then I paint on another coat that the topcoat will end up pulling the bottom coat and making these little crunchy layers. It’s like the gel doesn’t cure all the way through it only cares on the top portion and you have to stay under the lamp more than one cycle to curate completely. Not a good gel polish. The only plus side is the colors are very rich and if the year formula was better I would have definitely kept this product. The only reason why I ended up returning it was because it was way too difficult to get nice clean nails. On some of my nails you can literally see where parts of the layers of paint have come off it’s absolutely ridiculous.If you look close to the pictures you can see where the top layer of gel starts to come off. Give it a few days and then the nail polish start lifting from the actual nail and bubbling underneath. Not good multiple layers would come off at a time. Read more

I have to say I am relatively new to using gel nail polish, for the past ten years that I've been doing nails I've used regular nail polish bc I was doing my nails so frequently trying out new designs so gel polish didn't seem practical. I am not a professional, i do my own nails and also friends and family but that's about it. This brand I have to say as far as the formula is great, it's thick but easy to work with, amazing colors, but... All of the other brands of gel polish that I've bought have had colored stickers on top showing what color you were grabbing. And yes if you pick up the bottles one by one you can see through the little window and if you squint real hard and have a flashlight you can see what color it is, but that's annoying if you ask me. When I'm working I want to grab the color I want and keep going, not have to search through 12 bottles to find what I need. I'll prob end up putting a dab of color on the top of them but it's just strange to me that they don't come clearly marked. At first I agreed with all the negative comments. These gel nails pop off so easily. However, after taking to a true nail technician I learned it was user error. Here is the advice she gave me and it worked.1. Wash hands thoroughly before putting on gel. This will remove any oil on your nails so the polish can adhere to your nail.2. Do not paint over your skin. This will cause the gel to peel off. Instead measure a hair floss between where you stop painting and the nail meets the skin. Read more

I've been doing at-home UV Light gel nails for the last 3 years, and wanted some nice fall colours. I normally use ASP/Gelish brands but they didn't have the fall colours I was looking for so I decided to give this brand a try. Save your money. With ASP/Gelish I get 2 weeks of perfect gel polish sometimes longer. These photos are from 2 days after I did my nails, you can see 3 nails peeled off fully & I showed the 4th nail already beginning to peel. This is my 3rd time trying these colours. All 3 times, polish did not last more than 2 days before entire nails chipped/peeled off. I did many THIN coats, I use bonder & basecoat, like I said, I've been doing this for years I know proper technique, somehow this stuff just isn't it. Read more
