I am a big fan of Moda brushes but I will say the ones I have gotten off Amazon are def different in softness then the ones I have gotten at Walmart or other stores I dont know if they have just changed since the first time I started to get into these or they are different depending on where you buy them. Also to mention when this set first arrived I only recieved one of six brushes and had to do a return which wasnt too difficult but thought I would mention in regards to my experiance. Other than that I think these are quality brushes this is my third set of Moda brushes and they are all holding up very well I just like to have more than one of each brush depending on the look I am trying to achieve and how many times in a week I will be using brushes. This set in particular is beautiful I love the look of the rose gold of the handle especially when going to get them out of my black makeup bag they look so high end for a drugstore brush. They are as equally great in ref to softness you barely feel anything when applying makeup and these have def given me an airbrush look when using particular foundations with it. I think the only thing I can say about this set that is bad that I dont too much care for that smaller fluffy brush the bristles on that one are a little more course and it seems like maybe it was suppose to be a fan brush for highlight but just seems like an oversized dome brush and I dont care for it. Overall thou I def love Moda brushes and would def say to buy them on Amazon then in the store like I said before I dont know if it was the timing or not but there is a noticable texture different when it comes to the brushes and I prefer these over the ones I first brought thou I still use them I prefer the softness of these. The only negative is the brushes came in kinda cheap packaging instead of whatever it came in in the store, so the larger/denser brushes got squished pretty badly. Took a couple washes to get it back in it’s proper shape. Other than that I love these. I mainly bought it for the thin fluffy brush but the two dense flat head brushes are so amazing for foundation. Honestly disappointed, I love moda. This brush set feels cheap in regards to density of the brushes, and came in a dinky plastic bag. And for the original price of this product absolutely trash quality. For what amazon is selling about 20 bucks when I got it. Still trash. I don't recommend these at all. MODA Limited Edition 6PC Rose Bundle Makeup Brush SetThis brush set has everything you will need for a complete makeup look. I have cheap (elf, wet and wild, Revlon) and expensive brushes (Mac, Trish McEvoy, and one from Shu Umera that I hate to think about how much I spent on it), and these rates at the top and in some cases better than even the most expensive ones. I have had some of my brushes for over 20 years and they are still going strong. I think these will be in the same class.These handles are the right length and well balanced. They are perfect for travel since they are about 5 inches in length. Be sure to wash these in cold water and gentle soap before using them. I usually reshape the bristles and lay them flat to dry. Don't dry them standing up because that will cause the glue to fail. These didn't shed (unlike one super-expensive brush that makes me angry to this day). These work very well and it is a good assortment.This includes my favorite 2 for eye makeup (the small loosely packed shade brush is awesome for crease blending) and two for contouring and foundation. I can achieve a flawless look by only using these 6 brushes but I can see that I will be playing with these brushes for a long time.I love the rose gold color and the metal handles which feel sturdy and well made with the right weight. These brushes look cute. They work fine.I agree with others that its a bit strange they don't come in any sort of carrying case or bag or net or anything, just individual plastic bags. Getting them out of the individual bags had me worried I would splay out the bristles. I think there are other cruelty-free brands that have similar price-points that maybe put a bit more care into their products than plastic bags.As far as using them, they seem fine. I'm a replace-your-brushes-when-they're-nearly-dead kind of person so they are definitely an improvement over my old brushes. I haven't had an issue with shedding like another reviewer mentioned. I do think the shadow brush is a bit puffy, makes it harder to control than I'm used to. Read more

I got this set of brushes for my teenage daughter who is just starting to wear makeup. I didn't want to get her a real expensive set of brushes yet since she is just learning how to apply makeup but at the same time, I didn't want to buy a cheap set either. This is a nice middle of the road kind of brush set. There are some sets that come with a lot more brushes but this is good enough for her to learn with. The brushes are pretty good quality. Not as nice as some of the others but probably about right for this price. I am with some other reviewers that I would have liked to have seen them packed in something other than plastic bags although mine did not arrive damaged. All in all, I would recommend. Read more

I always wore very minimal make-up and am trying to up my makeup game, so in addition to trying more make-up products, I've been experimenting with brushes and watching tutorials online. With this set of brushes you don't really need anything more. I didn't really see anything in the tutorials I've watched that isn't included in this set. The bristles are very soft. The handles are a pretty rose colored metal, a tad slippery but no big deal. They're lightweight and easy to wash. I think the price is more than fair for what you get. The only thing I wish was that some kind of card was included identifying what each brush was for.
