Fabulous! high quality; very solid; attractive/elegant; thoughtful design; nice carrying pouch. Simply cannot beat it for the price. I looked through a lot of different compact offerings, and opted for this one, and am not disappointed. In fact, I'm going to buy another one for later down the road. And hell, I'll buy one for someone I have in mind as a gift. The ONLY aspect of this compact that could possibly be a drawback is that the ultra glossy case will probably scratch more easily than some others. Probably the BIGGEST difference between this product and a lot of the others is this: This compact has BOTH mirrors (1x, 10x) sized the same/shaped the same. Saw so many others with a smaller magnifying mirror in a different shape than the regular mirror. WHO THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA?? This mirror's magnification seems to be accurately described, BTW. This product doesn't have many reviews, so I was hesitant to pull the trigger, even considering the small price tag; however, I am glad I did choose this product. I don't leave many reviews, but feel it's important to help out a company that produces such a sensible product as this. My review is NOT paid. This dual mirror compact exceeded my expectations. It's heavy duty, really well made, and the mirrors are clear and of very high quality ....no distortion. Also it had a "magnetic closure that is awesome. It comes in a very nice carrying case too! Read more

This has a nice feel to it. It seems sturdy, a bit heavy for your handbag, but perfect for a travel bag. I’m returning it though because the magnification is too high. I’m replacing it with a 5x instead. I found that the 10x focused the light in such a small area, it was hard to get the magnification and the light in the same spot. Read more

I love the look. It’s a little bulky and definitely 10 times heavier than the cheap ones I get at the pharmacy. I try to keep my hand bag as light weight as possible so the heavy is an issue. I also can’t carry in my smaller purse that I use when walking a lot because of the bulkiness. Maybe I’ll keep this one by my bedside and get a cheap one for my purse. Read more

This is a nice and sturdy mirror. I really like it. Perfect for travel. But a little big for my purse. I’m using it in my purse for now, but I’m trying to find a smaller lighter one to replace it. Bought this mirror to keep in my purse. It worked great but broke quickly. Bought another one thinking maybe it was just a fluke. The second one broke, too. So obviously, it's the combination of the plastic and the hinge. It's very inexpensive, so if you want to keep in in the house and not move it, it will probably be great, but if you are using it to travel with, then I'd chose something a bit sturdier!
