I hesitated to buy a replacement mattress for the Pack N Play because of safety concerns. When my son was under 15 lbs, the bassinet portion was just fine with the standard "mattress" that comes with the playard. But as soon as our baby could stand or move around the flimsy board bent and slid and it was uncomfortable and unsafe. This mattress saved the day (night?) I can honestly say this was one of my top 10 baby purchases because of how much better the entire PnP is now. Though it seems pricey it's exactly what I'd want for a baby over 6 months. It's the exact right size, it's comfortable without being too soft, and the waterproof cover washes up so well. They should make all waterproof covers like this, I'd buy a Queen sized one! Read more

The cover is a zip all around washable cover and is perfectly soft on one side and is firm on the other side with waterproof material to keep liquids from soaking in the mattress. I recommend to wash the cover in cold water and mild detergent as soon as you get it, and let it air dry. The foam mattress itself is not machine washable, so be cautious. I had been looking for a foam mattress for my Chico Lullaby pack n play. I’ve had a hard time finding a mattress that fits and a mattress that fully foam and not cheaply made. Ironically I ended up buying a different brand initially, it was more expensive and so cheap and the mattress and aTtached cover were “crunchy”.So technically the mattress is the same size as the pack n play mat. It would fit in the top but it’s a little too thick so I put it on the bottom. On the bottom there is a gap on both sides. But other than that, this is perfect and just what I was looking for. It has an infant and toddler side and the cover is removable with one side being waterproof. Literally everything I’d been looking for and at a cheaper price!The mattress does take more than a few days to fully inflate. The way they pack it, it’s rolled up tight. I think the package said it takes 48 hours to fully inflate. It took longer for me, but it did eventually and it’s perfect. Read more

Great mattress for our Graco Pack N Playard. Mattress fits super snug on the top and bottom and feels very firm and safe for our 7 week old. Our pack n play flat mattress pad was bunching up under the sheet and making a raised bump towards the center that seemed very uncomfortable. This mattress was out of stock when I first started looking for a replacement, so we tried a different pad. That pad ended up being to small, leaving gaps on either side which seemed unsafe. This mattress fit so snug you have to work it into place, but it fits flat once you do that. I am very happy with it so far. Not sure how comfortable it is for toddlers on the other side as it felt the same to me on both sides. Very firm, but not like the board mattress the pack n play comes with. Great buy! Read more

The matress fit perfectly in the grace pack and play. It fully came to full size an hour after opening. My 6 month old son went from waking up every couple of hours to sleeping 6hours straight after a day of putting in this matress. The infant side is hard enough but give just a little for comfort. While i have a crib for my 5 month old, i prefer to keep him close to me at night but he's just too big for the bassinett now. I tried putting him in the pack and play but the mattress is so hard that you can feel the board right under it. This mattress is perfect because the one side is firm enough to be safe but because it is several inches thick it gives him enough cushion without feeling lime he is sleeping on a board. the outer layer is removeable for washing and is supposed to be waterproof which i love for those occassional spit ups. There is a softer side too but i think i'd be too paranoid to ever use thst one. Overall i am very happy with my purchase and my little man seems comfortable in it as he has been sleepimg through the night now. Read more

Unfortunately, this does not fit our Graco pack-n-play. Also, this mattress is not dual sided firmness as advertised. There is no distinguishable difference in firmness between either side of the foam mattress. The only difference is the texture (not the firmness) of the removable cover - one side has a soft texture and the other side has a waterproof-like texture. I think the description is misleading. I tried to return it, but they would not accept it because it is no longer in it's original rolled-up shrink-wrap packaging. I had to remove the shrink-wrap to try it in our pack-n-play, but there is no way for me to put it back in shrink wrap. Read more

Big improvement from the mattress than comes with pack and play. Very snug fit in baby trend pack n play basinet.. will probably fit better on the bottom part. I used the American baby fitted playard sheet and it fit great. I like that there is a firmer side for infants and you can flip it for a softer side when they get older. Read more

When I read the reviews I thought this is it and I was so excited for my baby having a new mattress once it arrived, it seemed good quality and it was well packaged but when I checked both sides of the mattress, the gray one was soft and the white side was way too soft for a baby. My baby is 10 months and she is a tummy sleeper but still I don't believe a mattress should be this soft as baby's spine is still developing, babies need more support so a firm mattress is in need for sure. I bought this mattress for our Graco play n go crib that we use for our new grand daughter. We didn’t expect to use it as often as we have been but our daughter was injured and we’ve been helping with the wee one. She has adjusted comfortably to this mattress and sleeps well. It is not a mattress, it is literally just foam. I purchased this item so that my daughter could sleep on her own in our camper. She is six months old. Though it did work, I was disappointed to receive it and see that it was just literally a piece of foam that I could’ve purchased from Fabricland. The cover for it is nice to have, as it fits exactly, but this item should never have cost $65. I obviously won’t be returning it as she has used it, but I certainly don’t recommend the item. This mattress fits great in our Ingenuity pack and play, we plan to use it for our second babe when they get a bit older, so they can sleep in our room.We did use it on an over night trip for our 19 month old, and we felt a lot better knowing they would have a much better sleep at night.The firmness of one side compared to the other is only slightly noticeable, and I think it has a lot more to do with the cover then the actual mattress, unless i am missing something.But in all I would recommend this product. Love love love this mattress. $60 very well spent. I started using this product in my sons pack and play when he was 6 months old on the firmer side with a mattress pad and a fitted sheet and it’s perfect for play during the day and napping or overnight sleeping. I love that I have the option to flip it over for extra padding when he’s older but for now this is exactly what I was looking for since my son refused to sleep on the “mattress” that came with the pack and play.
