I’ve now tried out four foot massagers in my quest to find the best one. Like others, I first tried out the HoMedics air foot massager at Bed Bath & Beyond. For the most part I really enjoyed the HoMedics massager. It heated up quickly, maintained a good, satisfying pressure, and felt surprisingly human-like. Unfortunately it crushed my toes to the point of being painful during part of the massage. When I got home I did some research and decided to buy the Miko shiatsu massager, based on all the good reviews. I was not impressed. It feels nice enough, but is not nearly as satisfying as the HoMedics massager. The Miko foot massager doesn’t feel at all human-like, takes a long time to heat up, and doesn’t maintain a consistent pressure. I decided to buy the Renpho and Quinear foot massagers to see if I could find a better option. Both the Renpho and Quinear foot massagers are great for different reasons. If you enjoy really strong pressure in a massage the Quinear is the way to go. The highest pressure setting is actually too intense even for me (and I like a lot of pressure). The Renpho doesn’t come close to the pressure level of the Quinear. However, it does hold the entire foot, rather than leaving the ankle out, as most foot massagers do. This means that your heel gets more attention using the Renpho. It also makes you feel more pampered. The kneading massage feels very nice on both the Renpho and Quinear massagers, and they both heat up quickly and maintain a steady pressure, but neither feel quite as human-like as the HoMedics. In the end I chose to keep the Quinear massager because I enjoy the very strong pressure. Read more

WHAT HAPPENS:So the air pumps into chambers at the top of the foot, which compresses your foot downward, into the kneading rollers underneath that work the bottom of your soles. great for working 1.your toes 2. front -to-mid sole of the foot. Dont get me wrong, I can feel the blood flow to my feet and toes, and they feel loose and relaxed. But I want that feeling on my entire foot.THE PROBLEM:The most important and most stressed part of the feet ( the heel and ankle) are completely ignored! Additionally, there are no side rollers or side air chambers to laterally squeeze the foot from the side.So you are left with just a repetitive knead pattern on the bottom of your feet that becomes uncomfortable after a while.I will be returning this item and looking for a more expensive one that get addresses the heel, sides and ankle. This wore out after only a few months of use. I liked it somewhat while I used it.It uses air bags that inflate against your feet, so the pressure is really uneven. It basically only gets the ends of your toes and the ball of your feet. Still I liked the thing enough to actually use it, but it's not a very long-lived product for how expensive it was to purchase.Even though it has removable inserts, there is also padding inside that wears out when the massager rubs against it. It's a bad design and won't last long.Averaged out, it may or may not be a good deal for you. It worked out to be about $1 per massage based on what I paid and how much I used it. I am totally disappointed with this product.UPDATE: I contacted the seller about the warranty policy. While they did offer me a replacement pads, they didn't actually send them to me. I feel that the way they worded their response was that the replacement pads were offered only so long as I don't leave a bad review. Updated to make sure the review is 1/5 stars. Read more

This thing is amazing. I might buy another just so that I have a back up if this ever dies. Not sure what those random people are saying that it smashes toes. I thought maybe their feet were too short and it’s pitting pressure in different places than mine. But then my 4yo kids wanted to use it and they loved it. They would have told me if it was hurting their feet. So if a child thinks it’s fine.. not sure what to tell those people. It’s amazing. Read more

I have a planter facilities and after I read the positive reviews I thought to give it a shot. I really wanted to love this massager. I loved it for the first hour, but then I started to feel the pain. It was squeezing my toes so hard, it did nothing to my arch and my heels. The next day My feet were hurting me so bad. Therefore I have decided to return it. Read more

I had tried a foot massager at Brookstone --- LOVED IT, but I didn't like the price of close to $300. I have diabetes and foot neuropathy is a concern for those with diabetes. I was committed to getting a foot massager, read the reviews on Amazon and decided on the Miko Shiatsu Foot Massager... LOVE IT!!! It's virtually half the price of the Brookstone model and every bit as good. I've had it less than a week and use it every evening. I've noticed an incredible uptick in my energy and can't recommend this product too highly. It's great. My wife has plantar fasciitis, and I encouraged her to use the foot massager. It's now a nightly ritual for both of us. Apart from the foot massager being a great product, I believe this company is also a great company with a strong interest in their consumer and not only at purchase but their follow through too. We received an email enquiring into our satisfaction with the product and assuring us that if there is any problem that they will rectify it immediately. There's no problem, just this customer's great satisfaction and appreciation for the Miko Shiatsu Foot Massager. Read more

I purchased this item for my wife for Christmas because she is a teacher and she has to stand all day. Since I gave her the Miko Shiatsu Home Foot Massager, she is not able to sit without putting her feet into it. The gentle heat, adjustable pressure points and 15-minute timer are perfect. Additionally, you will not be able to beat the price. GREAT PRODUCT Read more

After reading many reviews I bought this and now returned it. I have a 10 foot and wife has 7. We were looking for a deep massage unit. On level 5 the toes felt amazing but at that level it never touches the arch of the foot and barely touched the heel. Read more

Somewhat low quality, made for children's feet as the last 3 inches and the first 3 inches of your feet are not even touched. Does not reach arches whatsoever. Pressure on the balls of the feet are the only good part done right. There is no squeezing or vibration. Absolutely not worth $150 CAD. Maybe like 50 bucks... Pretty disappointing. Oh also misspelled words and lots of grammatical errors on the box, which is quite unprofessional in my opinion. Read more

This is my 3rd foot massager device. and it fits small. if you are a man and have size 10 and up forget it. im size 12 and my heels stick completely out. will be returning it. my other 2 devices were the older renpho model and they work fine. apart from the heel sticking out the massage at the front of the feet were basic. kneading and compressed air pillows that hug and squeeze your feet. 1 star for misleading and false description. there is no deep kneading. the pictures are also false they do not represent the actual product you get. Having read the many positive reviews this product while very well made and stylish failed to meet our performance expectations. While using it on both 11.5/7.5 size feet it concentrated its massage on the balls of our feet with very little if any massage on the heel and toe area of our feet. It completely failed to massage the instep portion of our feet. While not impressed with its performance given the overwhelmingly positive reviews it has received and having operated it on all five intensities with/without heat (there is no heat) we are left with wondering what happened...returned. This product is epic! I went straight in on 5 (the top setting) and yelped as I literally thought it was going to crush my feet!! I have a high arch so wanted something to help with that if I’ve been on my feet a lot. I find it best if I start on 4 then switch to 5 about half way through once my feet aren’t so tense? And then I can take it a bit more. I’ve found you do need to find the right spot for your feet which for me as a 38 or us7.5 is usually pushed right forward and outwards so that the arches get a good working. The only reason for 4 stars is that it doesn’t go up around the back of the ankles and shuts off after 15 mins when I’d say 30 would’ve been respectable for a decent session! It’s also a little noisy but not annoyingly so. The heat isn’t overly apparent but all in all a good buy. Read more
