I am not sure if I have to much hair because it is think and long but my "spare" hair only can fit around once. That would be okay if it covered my bun but I cant get it small enough it always shows..... I thinki have mastered how to make the two together... If you want something super easy and quick up-do for whatever occasion, this is it. The color match was great. You just simply pull your hair up using your fingers, wrap your hair around like you would a bun, place the hairbow on like any other hairbow and there you have it. You can make it simply as going to a BBQ or even more upscale like for a wedding. I found that depending on the amount of hair you have that if you place the hairbow twice it makes it a tighter fit or if you just wrap it once that it makes it a looser fit for a different look.
