Used for a Freddy cosine. I've used fake skin in the past and this was very difficult. Not very fibrous and difficult to spread. Staying power? Forget about it. It kept falling off so every once in a while I'd look like I had a buger drop off my face. I used the serum as well but that did nothing. No directions. Read more

Ordered for an angry princess 13 ghosts photo shoot. 1st disappointment was that the blood pot was leaking in the bag it’s in in the box when I opened the kit.The wax was very hard to smooth and wasn’t the least bit easy to apply. Would only stay if smeared in one direction and if it took too much work it would start to ball/crumble in a way. The liquid in the kit was worthless. No instructions and the leaking blood was completely repelled by the wax with and without the sealant.Getting it off was easier but still left some residue.Wax cracks shortly after application.Will try latex next time.Made it work as best as possible. I have used liquid latex and other SFX makeup for Halloween, but recently decided to get more into it. I purchased this kit to explore scar wax a bit more and use it for my Halloween costume.The wax was easy to work with, but learning to use the right ratio of Vaseline to avoid stickiness was tricky. I think that is mostly just user error and experience though. Getting it to set can also be tricky depending on how much Vaseline I used.The blood in the kit worked nice, but since it was only bright red liquid blood, So I ended up using a different brand of coagulated blood to make it look more realistic Read more
The glue didn’t stick the wax to the face as much as I would’ve liked it to. Better off using lash glue for that.Also, the blood was way too runny, and I had the same problem everyone else had when I opened it. The blood was running onto the other things in the box. I store it in a ziplock bag now in the box.I also had to mix the blood with flour to make it thicker and it seemed to work better that way. Read more
Used this to make some wounds for a costume. Easy to use as long as you have some petroleum jelly around. Watched some YouTube videos as well to figure out how to properly to use it and apply make up. Read more
im new to the whole sfx world and just wanted to give it a go. overall, super easy to use and handle. the wax is sticky but I’ve heard that’s normal. one downside was that the fake blood did stain for a day or so but it does come out. overall, I really like this product and would probably buy again.
