I was thoroughly disappointed as I not only needed the applicators, but I needed the correct amount as I have several weeks of wound care left. Also, you don't find out that there is no return/refund process until after you pay $6.00 for about $.02 worth of wood and cotton. The first time I ordered this product, it went very well. I recieved 200 cotton tip applicators. I then repurchased this product, and recieved one single pack of 2 cotton tip applicators even though it specifies 200. Product: Good Medline product, good price and sturdy wood. Not a generous amount of cotton, but ok to apply Rx cream. Seller: However, shipping failure! This cardboard box was mailed in just a manila envelope, not even bubble wrap style. One entire side was crushed, which makes sense- any box thrown on top wold have done that. The top flap was crushed so much that the box won't close right, so I tossed it and put the swabs in a plastic container. At least the individual packets were ok so contents were still sterile. I don't know if I just didn't realize how many were in the box or what, but wow, you get a TON of applicators with this, like I will never ever have to buy cotton tipped applicators again in this lifetime for my mom lol. I use one pack (which is two applicators) 3 times a day.I was specifically looking for these ones because of a few reasons:Nice long stickThe cotton doesn't get all "fuzzy" like with regular qtips2 to a packMost importantly these are sterileI use 3 a day for her lips and to put Aquaphor on them and I use 3 a day for her sutures with Aquaphor. These are not returnable. You can see them through the clear plastic side.They are cheaply made. The cotton swab is so, so thin. I mean there is very little cotton on the tip. What a waste of money. The shouldn’t even be called medical supplies. The company should be ashamed to be an item that is such trash. I have thrown them out. Read more

There isn't a whole lot you can say about disposable medical equipment. Each package contains two sterile, 6'' cotton swabs. For my purposes, I use one for a control and the other for the test. They serve my purpose, are a decent price, and I don't anticipate running out of them for awhile. Do keep in mind, however, as with any product like this, that once it has been exposed to liquid/humidity or has been opened, it will no longer be sterile. Open prior to intended use and be mindful of anything it touches after that point. A good technique for ensuring sterility is to open the package on the stick end, not the swab end, and you can pull it out with contaminating the tip. Read more

These are almost exact duplicates to what I got from our veterinarian-might be the same. At any rate, I won’t put anything else in my old pup’s ears. These do not leave cotton behind, they are nice and long and packaged in 2s. They make that task quick, painless and quick. My girl has had multiple ear infections and these are vital. I have purchased these in the past and they work well for applying medicine to my skin. That said, I like the former packaging MUCH better. The new packaging is paper on one side and a cellophane window on the other. The old packaging was all paper and easy to just rip the top off to get to the swabs. Easier and I didn't have to throw away a plastic-like "window." Read more
