This item arrived quickly, a little before promised, and was just what I needed, post-arthoscopic meniscus repair. The gel pack froze quickly and held the coldness for the prescribed icing time. The compression option is a bonus, to not only hold the wrap in place if you choose to walk with it on, but to provide mild compression, which is helpful after surgery. While I have several icing options, this is my favorite because it stays in place and lasts the prescribed icing time.I have larger legs (5'6/200 lbs), so this size gave me plenty of adjustment room and plenty of coverage. The ice pack (which comes with its own zippered freezer bag) fits the shape of the compression sleeve and velcros on. The "arms" are generously long and easily wrap around to securely hold the sleeve in place.The instructions were fairly easy to understand, though it did take a minute to figure out how to detach the compression tube/device.Highly recommend! My husband has been having knee pain the last few years and I am always on the look out to find something to give him relief. This product works very well when I can get the stubborn man to wear it. When he starts to complain of pain I ask where knee wrap is. Then we proceed to get the ice pack from the freezer and get the knee wrap loaded and on his leg. Within minutes the pain starts to go away. He does really appreciate the pump that allows him to get the compression just right and tells me it is comfortable to wear. After a Total Knee replacement Operation, I was given an ice wrap for my knee to take down the swelling. Within a few days, the velcro pieces had detached leaving no way to fasten it round my knee. I looked on Amazon and found this. I have used it once, and it is a much better alternative than the NHS one I was given. Really good fit, and with the pump to inflate and deflate it, it makes it very comfortable to wear. My only gripe and the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because there is nowhere to put the pump bulb after you have inflated the knee brace. That would cause problems if you wanted to wear it when you went out for a walk. In my opinion, it would be better to be able to detach the pipe completely from the knee brace and attach it when you need to use it, or to have a pocket in the knee brace to put the pump bulb in. maybe an idea for future models. I have been using the product now for more than a week. The description of the product is very different to what is written in the blurb. For example, it is does not have multiple pockets to slot the gel pack into - the gel pack velcros onto the inside. The way the product allows the gel pack to be tight against the knee is a good design - I like that. However, the main gripe for me with the product is that even after 24 hours in the freezer, the cold in the gel pack doesn't last the whole 20 minutes that I can have the pack on my knee, so I have to sue it multiple times for smaller durations to get the impact I am looking for. I am continuing to use it for the time being, but wondering whether the gel pack needs replacing. Read more

I had an ACL repair last week and had problems with pain relief as couldn’t keep anything down and so was really uncomfortable. This was so helpful - the ice pack is soft and flexible and the pressure from pumping it up is excellent.The valve lets you pump it up and then release the pressure like the expensive machine I had in hospital which didn’t work nearly as well.My only complaint is you can’t buy extra ice packs but this works with my other knee ones and even with a pack of frozen vegetables as it has very long straps :). it was a physio recommendation to get an ice pack with compression for recovery from knee surgery. The product is very well made with strong velcro straps to keep it tight on the knee. It fits really well and the compression is excellent for the swelling and to keep the icepack tight to the knee. I have used various ice packs in the past but none as good as this. The only complaint is that there is no option to buy additional ice packs to keep a couple in the freezer. Read more
