I live in the sunshine state. It is almost always hot here. I am sometimes plagued with rashes caused by sweat. This Medcosa Adult Care Cream works very well for chafing and heat rashes under large busts. It is the only cream I've found that really helps. It's nice and creamy and has a very very light scent. It absorbs into the skin quickly and easily, and does not leave a white residue on top of the skin, like you get with some other zinc type ointments/creams. My brother suffered a stroke; as a result, he sometimes develops a rash under his left arm because of inactivity and wearing a sling. We’ve tried many formulas, but zinc oxide creams, like this one, are a cheap and effective solution. Only a bit is needed to form a protective barrier—his rash is much improved as a result. I am a larger lady and in summer I do fight with heat rash and cracking skin. I have a wonderful ointment that works well, but I thought I might try something different - my other ointment is a bit more expensive and comes in a smaller amount, so I thought trying this lotion might be good. For the conditions that I mentioned, this lotion doesn't seem to work well. I do understand that some lotions work better for others - body chemistry being slightly different between individuals - and I'm just saying that this lotion does not work for me for the conditions I hoped it would help me with during the summer. My mom had surgery a while ago and she stopped wearing bras after that. So she gets this really annoying, persistent itchy rash where her breasts touch the skin. This cream worked great on her rash and it has dried up she started using it and looks like it's about to heal. I really like this as a diaper cream for my toddler! It’s moisturizing but still contains a good amount of zinc (20%), which acts as a barrier to wetness. His skin stays protected through diaper changes; there’s a trace amount of white left behind but it wipes clean.It also smells great! Very lightly scented, with a clean, fresh smell. Unfortunately, this comes from added fragrance and isn’t a natural scent (see picture of ingredients).I think this was targeted as an adult barrier cream, but it’s wonderful for all ages. This cream is lighter & thinner than other zinc oxide rash creams I've used and spreads on the skin very nicely. I'm not left with a big white spot, or oil slick either. I get heat rash on the inside of my elbows and under my boobs in the summer. If I put this cream on before getting sweaty outside, it really helps prevent any heat rash and if I have existing rash, it helps to calm it. Really good product! Read more
