About this item MB Herbals Indigo Powder is 100% Pure Indigofera tinctoria leaves powder. MB Herbals Indigo Powder Guarantees Purity and Top-Most Quality. No PPD, No Ammonia, No Parabens, No Additives or any kind of externally added substance. Nothing added or removed. Indigo Henna gives deep blue or blue-black colour to gray hair. Below, we have mentioned the method to color the gray hair to deep blue or blue-black. This is a 2-step process. Instructions to COLOR YOUR HAIR MB Herbals Indigo Powder: Apply pure Henna on hair first and allow Henna to dry on hair for 3 to 4 hours. Rinse the henna from hair with water. After 6 to 12 hours, make a fresh Indigo Powder paste (95% Indigo Powder and 5% Henna) and apply immediately on the hair again. Allow this paste to sit on hair for 30 minutes and then rinse the hair with water. Do not wash with shampoo for 12 hours and you'll be amazed to see your hair turn black or deep blue-black.. The above process will give a dark stain to your hair. Indigo is Green when it is Natural. When indigo powder gets oxidized, it turns into the blue from the surface and slowly it turns blue deeper from the surface. The pure and natural indigo powder is NEVER BLUE. It is always Green. Please do not purchase this product if you are looking for a Blue Colored Chemical Loaded Indigo Powder. We are passionate about our products and put the highest emphasis on quality. We are confident that you will love our products. I really liked this brand! I’ve been using Hennasooq for several years and really like their products a lot but needed to find a less expensive alternative. I tried Minature once a year or so ago and I don’t know what happened because they have good reviews but it just seemed to fry my hair so I’m afraid to try them again. This MB herbals worked perfectly with henna (if you have any gray hair you must do henna first, followed by indigo and however much of premixed and pre dye released henna, mixed in with it to cover the gray). I used this indigo as a two part process and my hair came out colored beautifully with softness and shine. I switched over to this brand. In my henna mix I always use aloe powder, Amal powder (to keep curls and to get more golden browns as opposed to reds) and some melted Shea butter as well as apple cider vinegar. But in the indigo you can only use salt (I use 2 tbsp) which helps the color stick to your hair. If you use anything else in the indigo, or try to use it without henna, it will not work and may even turn your hair green as it is not meant to use alone. After your henna and indigo have dye released separately, then you can mix henna and indigo together. This product worked great, is a very fine powder and mixes well. My hair turned out exactly how I expected, an off black with golden undertones and super shiny and soft! (My natural color is a medium to light brown with lots of reddish golden highlights). If you do a two part process just don’t be too shocked to your grays turn bright orange at first! After you’ve completed the two processes of henna and indigo it takes a couple of days for the color to “settle” in. Also the reason I use aloe, Shea butter and apple cider vinegar is because of the way henna gets into the hair shaft and can be drying for the first week or so, for certain types of hair (like mine since I perm it) but it is so good for your hair and does not dry at all when adding those products. In fact, I’ve permed for almost 40 years so I kinda got used to frizzy, dull, brittle hair. But since using henna and indigo my hair is soft and shiny with the exception of the ends that are still growing out because I refuse to chop it all off at once. Hopefully what I’ve learned helps anyone else trying to learn the process of using henna and indigo and / or deciding whether or not to try this brand. Read more
I purchased Indigo Powder to make Blue Soap. I have tried twice, just makes pale green soap, with a residue. Not salable. :( Read more
I ordered pure indigo powder to make blue soap. But this was not what I ordered! The powder was green and smelled like matcha powder. It turned my soap green. It wasn't blue like I expected. Real Indigo has a distinct color and smell. I am very disappointed. Read more
I would like to add this first review on the delivery service of this product, was IMPECCABLE! Although I have not used this particular brand of indigo...It looks, smells and feels of good quality...I will come with another review, once I have physically used MB Herbals Indigo...I also want to add, the package itself is so clean and natural in looks and touch, as well..Being that it’s packaged in an (all natural) brown resealable bag, unlike the rest of these packaging, other Indigo powder I have bought come in...Also, it’s made in India (100% all Natural Of Course) where most high quality Indigo is grown!...I hope this helps everyone, in their decisions🤔 to buy, this product...Once again! Service Was Superb!!!!😁👍🏼 Read more

Amazing natural product!! Tried this MB indigo powder for the first time after getting recommendation from a friend and glad I tried🙂 just using henna had stained the grey hair orangish and so I tried this product , followed the two step application method from YouTube and I am amazed that it actually worked, hair was bluish black and greys got stained blue black naturally 👍👍 so happy I tried and will buy this indigo powder from the same seller again!! I think good quality is all that matters and this indigo powder looks top quality compared to other I have used before!! Good packaging too !! Read more
These are Not double bagged; so be WARNED!! if your expecting it to be, you could have indigo powder exploding everywhere. Now that I know, I would gladly pay alittle more (which I have bought one alittle more expensive) for this 2nd bag. I bought two, and considering returning because of this. These powders are messy, period. I need every advantage I can get to keep things clean. Aside from that. The indigo dyed Beautifully. Fresh. Loved the results. Read more
I love this powder its nice and clean and pure. I put in 1 part henna/ 1 part indigo this is the result. My hair was bleached wit sun in before . I cut a bunch of that off and though there is still sun in this is the result using only half and half . I am very happy with it I give this product a five star rating. Nothing added just the indigo powder as described for the 1 star ratings it seems most of those people were looking for something to make soap with , knowing nothing about soap making I can only assume they bought the wrong indigo product .
