I love Maybelline mascaras. My absolute favorite is Falsies. I don't know if I just got a really old tube but this mascara was all dried up. Did nothing for my eyelashes. Was not buildable. First coat I couldn't really see product on my lashes. Second coat started to clump. I tried over a priming mascara still very meh. This is my favorite waterproof mascaras, and I've been using it for many years. My eyes water a lot and my brow shape tends to cause smudging, so I almost always buy the waterproof variety of mascaras.I usually put on a layer this mascara, let it dry, then put a couple of layers of the L'Oreal Voluminous mascara on top. This routine first lengthens then really pumps up the volume of my lashes.I will admit I am a beauty product junkie, and always run out to try new products, especially mascaras. I have not found another brand that compares to this in lengthening and separating my eyelashes. I find myself always coming back to my trusty old friend. I LOVE this mascara. I have been using it for years. I have tried expensive mascara from high end brands, and everything in between. This is one I always come back to. The formula is great, but I think it’s the brush that does the real magic. I have even thoroughly cleaned the bottle and brush of an old bottle that I was done with, and used the brush with one of my crazy expensive name brand mascaras. The formula does start to get a little clumpy when it starts to get old, or if you keep using too many layers (and I mean like 5 or 6 layers). I love this mascara and not just because it's very inexpensive because I would pay more, but that little curved wand applicator is so cool! When I wake up in the morning, for whatever reason, my lashes are a tangled mess, but this little comb solves that problem and doesn't glob. It's washable, too, which is hard to find, but my preference--easy to wash off and doesn't smudge anyway. Read more

This is the only mascara I'll use and have been using it for years. I am someone who loves to try new skin and makeup products, always looking for "something better", but this is one product I'm 150% satisfied with. It builds well, NEVER flakes, and dries completely (unlike some mascaras which seem to stay damp). It doesn't irritate my eyes, comes off clean, and the price point is impossible to beat.FYI - I only ever buy the non-waterproof kind. Having worked for a skincare/cosmetic company, I've probably tried most of the over-priced brands out there. This formula adds volume and length, and specifically, the wand in this one isn't too bulky, and easily separates lashes, without covering your whole eyelid with "oopses". Read more
