Shade 115 was too pink/light and 120 was too orange/dark for me. I was mixing them to get a passable color, but the undertone was not a match. I still used it for a while though to not waste. A word of warning for people who are fair with a yellow undertone like me, 115 and 120 mixed together will product a slight pink undertone that will look a little off when applied.I accidentally discovered while walking through Walmart that Maybelline released shade 118. It has a yellow undertone and is fair. I checked their website and it says they creates 3 new Fit Me Matte & Poreless shades, 118 being one of them. I love this foundation. This is the first foundation I have tried that has matched my skin so closely. It gives me medium to light coverage which I personally love since I like wearing this during the summer time. I have acne scars that I really don't love. They make me feel self conscious about myself. But this product provided coverage over them. In the two photos linked I only used foundation no concealer around my cheeks and forehead. The first pic is before and the second pic is after I applied foundation to problem areas. You can obviously see the coverage this foundation gave me. I recommend this foundation to every one of my friends and they have loved it too. Doesn’t matter if your skin is oily or dry - mine is extremely dry and sensitive. You need to make it part of your makeup collection.It has a medium coverage. My skin has been pretty clear lately so just a few dots on my faces will cover everything. Foundation is more of a sheer coverage not full coverage. It will make any skin dryness or flakiness much more noticeable. It doesn't cover the lightest blemishes. Redness still visible under foundation. Foundation oxidizes so be weary. Color: 228 Soft Tan is in the NC40 range. Application is patchy and streaky, so would recommend a makeup sponge over a makeup brush. The only attraction to this foundation is its price. I would recommend you to go for a lighter shade even if you have a medium to fair skin tone..I got this sun beige 310 and it's extremely dark for me though I have a medium skin tone..it gives you a matte finish..but please be careful about the shade range. If you have medium skin tone go for lighter shade as they mostly designed for dark skins. Después de probar otras marcas parecidas en precio y duración, encontré esta, que se volvió mi preferida desde hace un par de años. Es ligera, de media duración y deja textura de polvo, lo que la hace perfecta para quienes no usamos tanto maquillaje.Hice varios intentos antes de llegar a este tono. El anterior que usé fue el 128 pero le noté base rosa. El 228 tiene base amarilla, la diferencia entre estos tonos es leve pero el 228 siento que se acerca más a mi tono de piel, queda como con un tono bronceado. Tomé el tomo 110 (porcelain) y se me ajustó perfecto a mi tono natural de piel el subtono de la base es cálido, ligeramente amarillo. Adjunto una foto de mi rostro sin maquillaje, seguido de una con primera capa y otra con una segunda capa ligera ya con lipstick y blush. El acabado si es mate, seca rápido mientras lo aplicas y la sensación que deja es como si te hubieras aplicado base en polvo,lo cual me agrada bastante. De la duración no puedo opinar ya que estoy haciendo esta reseña terminando de aplicarme la base. En cuanto a cobertura de poros no me parece que haga ningún milagro, lo único que noté y que me gustó ha sido el tono que me va perfecto y su terminado mate y textura de terciopelo. Por el precio que pagué por ella, que la tomé de oferta ($96), la volvería a comprar, si es que no encuentro algo mejor. Un súper punto negativo es que viene sin dispensador, lo cual será un problema cuando el producto se esté terminando y de igual manera para cuidar que no se contamine mientras lo tienes abierto.
