All I'm going to say is you need to research all of the ingredients on this label before you purchase. Specifically the last several ingredients. Very harmful. I usually colour my natural hair during the summer, and dryness usually follows as a result of multiple bleaches.This product changed that! My curl pattern is back and my hair isn't dry. I do follow up with another Amazon find, Carol's Daughter Coco Creme Coil Enhancing Moisture Butter for Very Dry hair, which I apply to wet hair and my hair is grateful for the combination. This is a medium weight conditioner. The smell is heavenly. I can’t explain it, almost like honeydew melon, though it’s called sea minerals, lol. The smell is not cloying or fake though, just nice. I absolutely appreciate the Maui line of hair products. Having children with Celiac, we need to use products without gluten. It is hard to find labeled GF items in beauty. Thanks Maui! Edit: I retract my previous statement about the smell.I must have gotten a bad bottle because I smelled one from the store and it was great without the low tide after smell. I bought it and love it. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it's not super moisturizing. It truly smells amazing though. I now alternate it with the purple bottle.__________________________________At first sniff, this has a really nice parfum. It smells a lot like Yankee Candle "pink sands" or Chesapeake Bay "vanilla sea salt" if you're familiar with those (favorites of mine). However, I put a tiny drop on my finger and rubbed it together and it has a low note of sea algae plus something else gross for the hair I couldn't quite place until I read the ingredients list. Spirulina? Why? It isn't going to do anything for my hair but it smells awful. Tastes awful, too, if you've ever had it in a smoothie.Anyway, that wasn't going to work for me as I am sensitive to smells and I'm sure I would catch a whiff of "low tide" in my hair even after drying it. I used this product 3 times and every time I got an allergic reaction because of it. It made my scalp terribly itchy and it where it came in contact with my chest and neck from me combing it through, it left welts. It smelled great but that was only thing nice about it. Read more

I wanted to love this but the sprayer is awful! It doesn’t dispense evenly on your hair and will soak certain places, but others are left dry! I’ve tried to work with the cap to see if there was anything to do to fix it but sadly it’s just awful. The product itself smells very nicely and makes my hair shiny.
