As a former sephora employee/lifetime product junkie with genetic lizard skin, I am a body scrub and lotion/oil/butter enthusiast. This scrub is wonderful and unique- the texture is like a loose pudding- most sugar scrubs are thicker, hard to spread, and make my tub a slippery death trap. This one is easy to spread, even on dry skin, moisturizing without leaving any residue on me or the tub, and super effective in removing dead skin leaving me lightly fragranced and smooth everywhere. Paired with the lotion (which is really as moisturizing as a butter but also not greasy), I feel like a new person. This is the product is the only thing I used to wash my body and I regret it. It was all great at first and then half way through the bottle I noticed my body beginning to react badly to this product. I took a chance on this. I use Maui Moisture shampoo and conditioner so I figure why not? So glad I did. This is the only body wash from the company that I’ve used but I do plan to try the other lines. I absolutely love how it lathers, how it makes my skin feel during and after the shower. This body wash was mentioned on a podcast and out of sheer curiosity, I gave it a shot. Typically, my skin and nose can not handle many fragrances, so when this arrived I was a bit nervous. After using it a few times, it was clear to me that the scent was strong, but it did not bother my allergies nor did I have a negative reaction on my skin. It has been repurchased over and over again, it has traveled with me on family vacations and I even turned my mom onto using it. She stocked up and got 6 bottles! I love this body wash! It smells amazing, but it's not too strong--it doesn't overpower perfume. I am so grateful that I finally found a body wash that does not irritate my skin, because I struggle with eczema. This stuff is a concentrated body wash, unlike most Walmart brands. I love this stuff, adore the smell so much I had to get the deep conditioner, body wash and lotion! I looked up all of the ingredients and it's all real and natural, great for the price. One bottle of each can last 2 months or more, my hair is really long, reaches my belly button,only need the size of a quarter, anything else, in any brand of shampoo makes my hair heavy. I've gained atleast 4inches on my hair using Maui brand(silk pillow case and Towel Turbie after showers helps with split ends) . I'll be switching smells soon since I've detoxed enough, will be sticking with Maui. Need to make body wash and lotion in that curl Maui shampoo smell, I'd be loyal to that. Read more

This is my go to body wash. This "Volcanic" one is hard to find in stores near me but I really love the scent. It's not floral or fruity just a nice subtle scent. It moisturizes well for me but I don't have particularly dry skin. Some body washes for example from Bath & Bodyworks are more like a cross between lotion and body wash. Maui body wash does not leave my skin feeling like there is lotion on it. (I prefer this more squeaky clean feeling) It lathers well and seems to be of good quality. Read more
