I was shocked how small this item is and then when you open it and look at how much product is ACTUALLY available. I HAVE to have this for my son for camp or I’d send it back. I do t care how good it is. I guess I missed the .5 oz part. The plastic used isn’t worth the product amount. Wrestling a two year old with sunscreen every morning in the hot Florida summer is not fun. This product is so easy to use and my two year old actually asks to have it now, because cookie monster is on the front. I love blue lizard products but the stick doesn’t seem to provide the same sun protection as the lotion. It’s great to use on the littles faces, just make sure to reapply more often. My daughter who has severe eczema, has no reaction to blue lizard! Read more

My kids hate the sunscreen sticks because there are usually tiny little granules in the ones we have used in the past (Sunbum, etc) and it hurts to spread it. This one is nice and smooth and blends easily into their skin. It does a good job of preventing sunburn as well on their faces. Read more

Allergic to fragrance and wasn't able to get my usual Cerave stick. Tried this instead. Good product that worked just as well with no issues. It's sensitive on the skin and provided good protection. Feels moisturizing and not drying. I'm fair so I didn't notice any white cast or purple. tint however, that could be an issue with darker skin tones. I liked this brand. I love that they have Sesame Street characters on them but I have applied this sunscreen twice to my son’s face and each time he starts crying and it increases over time, he gets a runny nose and eyes and a puffy face. I didn’t know it was the sunscreen the first time, I thought it was the ocean water. The second time revealed it to be the sunscreen. No amount of washing his face is relieving him. Don’t do it.
