This stuff worked so great for me, first time bleaching but not new to dying.Any bad reviews I think need to be taken with a grain of salt because very few mention any prep taken before bleaching. No matter what brand you use or salon you go to, bleach is bleach. You deep condition your hair for as many washes as you can before you bleach; you absolutely never bleach hair when it's freshly clean, you wait till your hair is greasy like 3-4 days worth of grease; immediately after washing the bleach out (after letting it set for a bit less time than recommended), you condition again. If you need it to be lightened again, you wash it again the next day, condition it, wait two more days without washing and you go again. You don't just merely slap any bleach onto your your and go for it. Work quickly, you don't want one side of your head lightening before the other. Read more

Okay so I had bossy blue in my hair a very bright pigmented blue so I brought 2 boxes of lighting because I have dreadlocks so my process is very different so the first box I use to pretty much work the color out the next day i use the brush it comes with section my locks and go through every lock because sometimes its hard to get the previous dye out I still have hints of blue but im going to dye it ombre orange so it will blend im actually very satisfied and this will be my go to from now on because 1 box covered my head they give enough product and I leave it in longer than expected due to having dreadlocks great product Read more

I was blown away by how well this worked on my black hair! It was easy to apply and ended up leaving my hair looking like I toned it even though I didn’t! Salon bleaching leaves my hair feeling dry and brittle sometimes, but this left it feeling soft and nourished. I love the Manic Panic line. Read more

I have really thick hair, so I had to use two boxes to cover my entire head. If you plan on doing sections, one should be fine! I wanted to go to a blonde, but my hair was really brassy after rinsing- so to cover the brassiness I went with an Auburn blonde, which I'm okay with! This bleach was very rough on my hair, and it got VERY hot when it was processing. I've done my hair myself my entire life, but this was the most hot I've ever felt my hair get during the process. It did lift several levels, which I'm really happy about. My hair was a dyed medium brown before this, so the fact I was able to get it as high as I did was impressive! After I bleached and got the color from the first picture, I toned for about 10 minutes with a purple shampoo. Then I used a box Ash blonde on top because my hair still had a lot of brass- which in turn gave me this pretty Auburn blonde. I would probably use this product again, but I would definitely wait a while because it strength can be damaging if not used correctly. Read more

I started out with box dyed black hair that I had been dying for several years. After two applications within a 2 week period, and waiting to do my roots until the last 5 minutes of the second application, i got a nice gingery orange color.
