I am not sure how this would work without makeup setting spray. I want that to be out there right off. I tend to use metallic eye shadow only when I'm going out for whatever reason, so that means I use primer and makeup setting spray. It's lighter than I thought, which is not a deterrent, because I am extremely fair skinned. I did mark that I did not have irritation with the product, but as I stated above, I did not put this directly on skin, there is eyeshadow primer between the product and my skin. I really like the effect and color, it works well with my blue-grey eyes. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't wear the best, even with the precautions I took. I’ve only use the eyeshadow in two different colors so far for two days, but I found it to be good quality and easy to apply and spread and blend with my finger. I like how each color is actually multicolored with specs of other colors in it, giving it a dimensional effect. It’s also thick enough for good coverage, because I’ve bought other brands that upon arrival were so thin, that you had to use huge amounts of it just to get the color to show. Not the case here. This color has just the right thick coverage so one layer is all you need. It lasts all day long without creasing, and I think it will be a good replacement for the previous Femme Couture brand that I used to use that has been discontinued (was formally sold by Sally Beauty Supply). It’s a good value for the price, and has a great selection of colors. I will definitely buy some of their other shades to mix it up. Read more

I have been forever trying to replace my go to eyeshadow—lucky penny—after Clinique stopped making it. I was hoping this would be more of a rust/copper color. It’s really pink. I have worn it a couple of times but I’m not liking this color at all. Otherwise, it is a nice showdown—color is saturated and goes on evenly and easily. It’s just not the right color for me. Received it today, the color is not written anywhere on the box at all so not sure if I received the correct color or not. I ordered Dark Copper, it doesn't look really look dark copper to me in it's case, and on my skin looks silvery/gray with maybe a hint of gold..- not dark copper to me at all let alone dark copper..... It looks nice in addition to the copper shadow I already use but it definitely can't replace my copper when it runs out which is what I wanted it to do. Read more

I love baked shadows because they can be used wet or dry as liner and/or shadow. As liner this is on the light side, great for day. I have no problem with staying power because I keep my fingers away from my face, try it, your makeup will stay till you want it gone. Great pigment and shimmer. Got lots of compliments. Compares to the Laura Gellar baked shadow that I spent at least 3x as much for plus shipping so value is great. Read more

Only surprise I had with this product was that it has a hint of blue in it but when you apply it you really don’t see it. This is a beautiful warm color that will go with anything as it has several different brown shades in it. It’s easy to apply as it blends well you really can’t make any mistakes so it’s quick. It last all day into the evening. I even use just a hint under the bottom lashes. I think it will bring any color eye out. Read more

Very bad ingredients. Many chemicals NOT intended for your eyes. The big heads up from the brand is the warning : DO NOT PUT IN MOUTH. That should tell you all you need to know. Just because it’s pretty doesn’t mean it’s good.ALLWAYS read and look up ingredients. None of these ingredients would probably blind you but they can do a whole lotta damage in you. Beautiful texture, lighter color than expected. The streaks of blue make the color less bronzey than expected. I have now ordered the dark copper and the silver. I mix a green with silver for a really pretty color, as my eyes are green with a grey outer circle. I hope they will come up with a green shade.Also, the amount of shadow is generous and well packaged. Nice product. Read more
