I am one of those people who heavily relies on other peoples' reviews but rarely leaves my own. However, this little item is GENIUS. When it arrived, I thought it would be too short but it fits all of my MAC brushes and even my tallest LAURA MERCIER brush. When zipped for travel, it lays FLAT. My review is for a rectangular zip up makeup case set and not what you see here. There is no smell even fresh out of the packaging and the product dimensions are listed for God's sake. So many women complaining about how their makeup doesn't fit and it boggles my mind. If you can't fit your makeup in this case for TRAVEL then you're wearing way too much. My makeup setup for going to see the Opera fits in the large case with room to spare. The small case I use to organize my vanity drawer and almost everything I use fits in that too! So if you're a diva who derives self esteem from CoverGirl, then do us all a favor and buy the makeup case rolling luggage and admit your shame everywhere you go instead of pretending to be a functioning human.As for me, this product is so awesome I'm buying a second one to organize small care items for my man's briefcase. I got two of these. One for pencils and the other for makeup brushes and sponges and stuff. I’m really happy with both. Now I know where my stuff is.I tend to put my makeup on in the car more often than I should. My husband is one of those people who wants to be places very early. Even after many years I have never gotten used to it. So I adapt as best I can. The folding top is especially helpful. It holds stuff in place but unless something dramatic happens nothing falls out.I leave the pencil one folded down all the time while I use it, too. All you need is a steady surface.I almost wish there was a strap, though. It would be helpful for both of them.I will say this. If you get both the makeup holder and the brush bag you’ll want one of them to be a plain colour. All those flowers clash.I hope this is helpful to someone. Read more

I really wanted to like this product. I looked up at least 50+ items and decided on this one based on the size and how things were divided and such (not to mention the price!)So, first, good things are...You get two for the price of one. It looks well built.However, one of the big cons for me was somewhat inaccurate/or misleading item description.In the item description, it reads that the bigger pouch is 7.8 inches. However, I cannot even put my 7 inch brush in the brush holder because the top flap and bottom pockets takes so much space. I figured, I could leave the taller brushes out at home. But then, I found out that the bottom cornering takes out lengths for right and left sides (you can see in the picture of 4 of the same brushes). When I noticed the similar issue with the smaller pouch, I decided to return the item. (I could only safely fit most of my face-makeup brushes in the center slot of the smaller pouch). Read more

OMG!!!! Where has this been all of my life?!? I have bought I can't tell you how many different types and all have been retired! This thing is AWESOME!!!! I know that people have been writing negative comments about the white logo. So what??? It's not like you're wearing it as an accessory. It's a makeup brush holder for goodness sake! This amazing thing holds a lot of brushes! It is tall enough so that it doesn't squish your brushes. They cleverly made the top half of the holder with a clear plastic material so that the makeup from the brushes don't transfer onto the black material--clever! It zips flat so that it's not bulky when traveling with it. You unzip it, fold the top half down and voila! You have a standing makeup brush holder and have all of your brushes at your finger tips and are visible and aren't having to shuffle through them to get to the one brush. The brushes hold it's place because again, brilliantly, they thought of putting elastic around the holder to keep the brushes in places. This thing is so functional and am so happy with it! I ordered these for my hospital bag, diaper bag as well as for traveling (multi-purpose) for my make up and toiletries. I chose these for the size, I don’t want to over pack with things I don’t need. They quality is very good and thick, I like that they came with a little mirror inside. This is a nice malleable make-up brush case. I have a lug case, which I like, but it is bigger and much stiffer. I like this one for travel, as it is a smidge smaller, and I am able to kind of squeeze it into a small space. It nicely fits my two main brushes, and my few make-up items that I travel with. (Two brushes, eye shadow pot, cream blush pot, mascara, and travel gotoob of cleanser). Very nice quality at a very reasonable price! (I purchased the black case). Read more
