This medicine made me sick every single time (which was often twice a day) since the very first time I took it. I mean sick to my stomach; nausea, cramps and churning of the stomach so bad that I was gagging and had to lay down for about half an hour. I think it helped the mucus a fair amount..about 3/5 stars haha. This affect lasts only a few hours until you have to take the pill again and go through the suffering again one way or another. This pill was taken with food and a glass and a half of water but still made it impossible not to react to ingesting them. The side effects lasted about 40 minutes then went away for me but I've gotten a different kind in hopes that it won't incapacitate me like this one. Watch out for these affects! Read more

When you have sinus trouble, drainage can make it hard to swallow pills. They can become trapped in the muck. Some pills come with a slick coating that helps some. These do not. They have a high-friction surface that makes them harder to swallow, especially with phlegm. Read more

These pills were too large to swallow. If you tried to cut them or wet your mouth they starting melting and gagged me more. Should be coated or in capsules. Read more

These work for me much better than the more expensive Mucinex. I travel frequently from the Augusta GA area to Myrtle Beach.
