I have had heart palpitations for years and Magnesium Taurate has been the only thing that controlled them. I used 'another brand' that was very popular on Amazon that works fantastic up until a year or so ago when they for some reason changed their formula. (I think most here know what that other brand is!) The new formula was useless. The pill size was larger, there was powder in the bottle and they just didn't work anymore. After a bunch of experimentation I found these and they work as well or maybe even better than the old ones did. My palpitations are almost eliminated with this brand. Please please, oh please don't change the formula in the future. It works and for people like me, it is a huge issue to have a product that you depend on for heart health to decide to change the formula to save a few cents. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I just recently read about Magnesium Taurate on Dr. Garret Smith’s web site. I have been searching, for quite some time, for something that could help keep my blood pressure at a healthy level, and also reduce the night-time adrenalin surges that wake me with significantly elevated BP readings. I received this product over two weeks ago and since that first night I have slept soundly for 8 hours each and every night. I wake up refreshed and not groggy. To allow the suggested 3 capsules to start the relaxation, I take them about an hour before bedtime. I read about magnesium supplements being helpful for a better night's sleep so I took a chance and ordered these. They work! For the first couple of weeks after starting these, I'd start feeling pretty sleepy shortly after taking a pill (I've since worked myself up to 2 pills). Eventually I stopped feeling so sleepy as my body acclimated to these, but one thing hasn't changed: once I am asleep, my quality of sleep has definitely been much improved compared to what it was before I started taking them. I had been waking up in the middle of the night and having a hard time falling back asleep, it was horrible. Now I fall asleep and stay asleep until my alarm goes off. Love it! I started taking this with a slew of other supplements in a panic because I found out that I had chronically elevated blood pressure. This particular form of magnesium is best suited for heart issues. I found out that my drinking alcohol had a lot to do with it and my blood pressure started to drop , so I eventually stopped taking these pills. About a week of being off of them and still haven't been drinking, I noticed my blood pressure was rising again for no apparent reason. So I started back up again and my blood pressure is now almost consistently below 120/80, sometimes as low as 105/70. If so, this would suggest 100% would require 10.5 capsule per day, such that this product only would last about 20 days at a cost of £1.60 per day.
