I love this sound machine! It’s so small and compact that it would hardly take up any room in a suitcase. I bought it to use for home. I love that it comes in white because it blends in to my white nightstand. I tested all the sounds and they are very clear and definitely represent the sounds described. The only thing I would mention is the placement of the buttons. I would prefer them on the top and not on the front. If they were on the top, it would be easier to turn on and off because you have to push and hold the button for a second or two. Since it’s so light weight, you sort of have to put pressure on it from the top to hold the machine in place to turn it on and off, which is a somewhat trivial thing, but that’s my opinion and I still really like this sound machine! It's smaller than I anticipated (about the size of a ring box) which is completely fine. For it's size, it has a nice selection and decent sound. My one knock on it is that the buttons are pretty small with no space between them so it's easy to press the wrong thing. I also wish the timer function was an independent button as opposed to the same as the power button. More often than not in the process of turning on the sound machine you also engage the timer. Unless you are paying attention (there are white dots that light up so I know this is on me to some degree), you aren't going to know it until it shuts off in an hour when you thought it was on for the night. Lots of noise machines try to do too much, like variation noises, chirps, brown noise that's going in and out of phase. This thing has a great in between brown and pink noise that really works well for sleeping and drowning out the chaos. Highly recommend. I only wish they made a rechargeable or battery powered version of it. You can run it off an external usb battery when traveling though. Read more

This product works great and I will be keeping it however I was frustrated to find that where you plug the device in has an extremely bright blue light. This literally lights up the room I had to be creative and covering it up and it’s still so bright let it shine through. I was surprised at how small this sound machine is. It replaced an older one that took up more space and was awkward with fiddly buttons. This sounds great, has 20 different sounds and multiple timer options. Not good if you need larger buttons, but great if you need a compact unit and small buttons aren't an issue. Has a plug attachment for the USB cable. Great machine for a reasonable price. The biggest difference between my old machine and this one is the old one could also operate with batteries for traveling, this one needs to be plugged in to operate, though not a big deal. Also, this little unit does not have obnoxiously bright lights if you need total darkness. In continuous mode, there are no lights on at all, and just tiny pinpoint lights if using the timer function. Read more

So I have always been using a fan/air purifier in my room to crease some white noise to help me sleep. A fan also does help keep me slightly more cool which is nice since I'm a hot sleeper. However for the past 6 or so months, I've been dealing with very dry conditions in my room, leading to a very dry nose causing constant nosebleeds. I tried many things like adding a humidifier (which helps), adding a thin layer of vaseline to the inside of my nose (which helped the most, but apparently not good for long term use due to vaseline going into your lungs), but wanted to get to the bottom of this. For those reasons, I tried this noise machine.Very company and discrete unit, with a suprisingly loud and rich sound. From what I can tell I don't really get as much bass vibration as what I did from the fan I used to use but I have been adjusting. I really like the fact that there are so many different sounds with many levels of volume. All in all, I can see my self using this for a long long time.
