Terrible design. After spending a small fortune on the stroller then having to buy the hood, I expected a lot more. The hood does not collapse or fold back at all. I'm not sure what the design team was thinking here. Completely ridiculous. Because of this, it doesn't store well in the car and less than a couple weeks after buying it it was completely bent and misshapen. Really disappointed in maclaren and they're lack of design care for our special needs kiddos. I ended up returning it and bought a versa-brella for $20 which is sooo much better! Read more

I should cavet that this works really well for my autistic child WHEN I install it backwards so she can't easily open the velcro. I purchased it because she was able to get part-way out of the 5-point harness of the Maclaren Major Elite. When installed as directed this made it so she was slowed for about 18 more seconds before she could make a partial escape. Once I turned it around backwards it works really really well. Read more

This was a much needed addition to the stroller! As a parent of a Disbaled child, I have to carry a lot of stuff with me. So this is perfect. I can even close the stroller with this attached, which is the best feature yet, considering all the other parts have to come off to fold! Read more

This stroller is great for our “bigger” 3 year old. He’s 3 1/2 feet tall and weighs 50 lbs. He still needs a stroller and is at or approaching the weight limit on most strollers. Love that it’s an umbrella style stroller. Read more

So many cons- Doesn’t collapse with the rest of the stroller. Not easy to take on and off. Not easy to travel with because there is no where to store it on a plane when you check the stroller at the gate. Expensive as hell after buying an already expensive stroller. Design is not much different than a regular stroller. It is so sad that you pay this kind of money for a stroller because its for a disabled child. And for $400 you still have to order all the extra parts @60 a piece to complete the stroller. I had to order side lateral pieces so he would stop beating his arms on the bolts.
