This makeup doesn't appear to be the same as purchased in the store. I have worn MAC for at least 10 years and this is the first time I've purchased outside of the store. When I opened the package, I noticed a slight chemical odor which faded after a day or so. However, I've noticed the more I've used, the color has changed. It's a cloudy white film when applied and this has never happened before. I called Amazon yesterday and spoke with Cess who placed me on hold multiple times. She changed her information at least three times from giving me an option to replace (which I chose) or a refund; only to change in the end stating the time had lapse to return and I get nothing! I wish I could post a photo because this product was blatantly used! There was powder all over the edges of the compact! I am so freaking pissed! This is not a $10 compact! Absolutely ridiculous! I've tried many, many powder foundations including Lancome and Laura Mercier and Mac Studio Fix Powder Foundation has been the best I could find for my t-zone oily skin. I like that you can change the coverage from light to full depending on how much you use. It doesn't cake unless I've gone all day without blotting, but this will happen with any and every foundation. I buy department store, luxury brands as well as drug store brands and this product is worth the $$$. Read more

I love the coverage of this foundation. I use it by itself. Real light feeling (or you can wet the applicator and go heavier). My skin gets oily throughout the day, so a reapply is needed if I want it to last but I usually let it go. Using a primer helps. great color for my skin tone which I love!! When I found my favorite MAC compact at such a steep discount, I was through the roof with excitement. I was a little skeptical though. When I got the product, it looked pretty legit and I had some left over from an original I had bought at the MAC store to compare. The one I purchased here was just a little yellower than the original one I had but did not think anything of it as mine was a little over a month old. Immediately with the first try, I knew this product was not the same. I have been using this compact for over 6 years and have NEVER had an issue with it until I bought it here. No matter how hard I tried to get the powder on the sponge, it would not absorb onto the sponge the same way. Eventually, these hard, dark bumpy areas formed on the powder so I avoided that area of the compact because it would not budge on to the sponge at all. I did a half and half face comparison with my leftover MAC and the this one and all my blemishes and dark spots were still visible on the "fake MAC" side. The original side, flawless and perfect. I was really disappointed but should have known better when trying to score a deal. Maybe I got an old expired one, I don't know. I threw it out after my experiment from disgust. I have worn Mac Studio for years, but this is nothing like it. Mac is not a powder when applied that is visible to see you are wearing make up. Mac is slightly creamy but and yet a pound on one application I'm usually covered and it dose not sit my lines.I would definitely say on application this is not Mac Read more
