So, ad others have pointed out, the product definitely does not arrive looking as moist ad it does in the pictures. I compared it to the scrub I have from a nationally recognized body product retailer and immediately started adding coconut oil. But, after a out a tablespoon or so, I stopped myself. I questioned if maybe there was a reason it was made that way. I decided to try it out and compare the results of the two. I started scrubbing with the M3, after a workout, and almost immediately noticed a lemongrass scent fill the shower. But it was not heavy and did not linger. I don't mind lemongrass but some people might find that upsetting. The scrub goes on just like any other. As a matter of fact, since it was drier, I think I noticed the crystals/grains more. After drying off, I noticed my skin felt VERY nicely moisturized. It's hard to describe but it was not an oily feeling as some scrubs give, just a pleasent sense that the moisturize was there and working on my skin, so a lotion would not be necessary. Also, I didn't notice any fragrance of lemongrass clinging to me. I like the lack of a scent because it allows me to perfume my skin the way I would like afterwards. Also my bathtub didn't seem oily afterwards; a big plus for cleaning up. Overall, I felt very good, kind of rejuvenated, after using it.In comparison, next time I worked out, I used my other brand of scrub. It has a nice Lavender and Sandalwood sent that lingers. It has lots of oil and you definitely notice it as you scrub your body. I got out of my bath gently surrounded buy it's relaxing scent. After drying of I noticed my skin felt highly moisturized. But also that if I rubbed my fingers against it, I felt the oil was getting on my hands too. Only very slightly mind you, I didn't feel greasy or anything. Just that maybe there was a thin layer of oil lingering on top of my skin. Also my bathtub definitely looked like it was covered in oil. I wouldn't use this on my face, but my body felt lovely. I didn't feel the need to put anything on my skin for a long time afterwards. Overall, this scrub felt delicious and relaxing.In short, I honestly prefer the M3 a little more. But it also matter what you're looking to get out of the scrub. The M3 came with a sticker offering the next one free and I plan to partake. I used this on some spots of skin my keratosis pilaris is an issue. My skin is also very sensitive, so it is important that the exfoliants I have to use, are also not irritating. This scrub fits that perfectly. I used it a couple of times before writing a review just to be sure, but it really helped my rough spots, and I didn't rash or have any irritation after. I also LOVE the scent of this. It isn't overpowering, but it isn't weak either. It's not sweet-smelling like most sugar scrubs. Most companies try to go with a dessert theme for sugar scrubs, but this one is pleasantly a fresh, lemon-grass scent to me, and I adore it. Read more

I have been using M3 scrubs for months now and it’s my personal favorite. After they came out with the brown sugar scrub, I knew I had to get my hands on it. It’s just as great as the salt scrubs and has a delightful scent. It’s strong enough to remove dead skin but doesn’t irritate my skin. So the product doesn’t look as moisturizing as it does in the advertised photo once you receive it. It’s just more so of a dry scrub. Once applied to a wet surface it seeps into your skin pretty nicely though. So it’s alright I’ll keep it. And the lemon type smell as stated in previous reviews is accurate, but it’s a nice smell.***UPDATE UPDATE***I like to keep my scrub on the brim of the sink it’s just a habit and accidentally it fell in while the water was running so water got inside the container I just stirred it in. And believe it or not that accidental water that got inside gave it the moisture it needed. Here’s some before and after pictures from before the package is opened vs what the water did...
