I am quite minimalistic with my makeup and it holds all my brushes, primer, foundation, highlighter, eyeshadow duo compact, mascara, eyeliners (liquid & pencil) & lipsticks (which double as blush for me). It's so handy as it keeps everything upright, when the top is folded down everything's easy to get in and out and and if I need to travel everything's well protected by flipping up and zipping closed. I bought this because I like Lug bags and was intrigued with the idea of this. I like that if you need to carry or keep stuff upright and protected that this will do the trick. The top folds over when open so that you can use your items and keep them upright if you want. This will fit inside some of my purses but I might use it to store some items in my bathroom. Genius. Perfect for travel.This is a brush holder, with a little room for makeup inside. It fits my daily makeup brushes and liners, with room for a couple lipsticks or small powder inside. It stands on it's own with the top rolled down ensuring no damage to the bristles of the brushes!For reference I travel with: mac face powder brush, nars yachiyo blush brush, mac bronzer brush (Tom Ford bronzer brush takes up too much room), 4 eye shadow brushes, smashbox highlighter brush, eyebrow brush (Anastasia #20 brush), Tom Ford liquid liner, pencil liner, lip liner. The eyebrow brush and liquid liner are long and fit comfortably in this case.The zipper is good. The case is hard at the bottom and soft on the top. So you can't "squish" it to fit into tiny spaces. I absolutely love this piece. Lug always makes such lovely storage items.This is a perfect cosmetic case for minimalist travel. I plan to use for traveling with carry on only. It fits perfectly into my personal item so my eyeshadow palette doesn't get smashed. I bought this makeup bag as I needed a compact brush holder and this was great! I like that it fit all my essential brushes and had some space in the middle compartment for my daily use cosmetics (brow powder, concealer, brow gel, undereye powder). It’s a very sturdy case (thick material) but one thing I wish it had was a plastic cover over the brushes so it would prevent colour transfer between brushes. My solution was to take the plastic cover inside eyeshadow palettes and put them in between my brushes before closing the case. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. Read more
