Wish I would've taken before and after pictures. Bleached my daughter's hair with 30 volume developer on top of coconut oil....toned it with Wella's Ash Blonde toner. She is practically the Mother of Dragons now (which was our goal). I was slightly concerned about how damaged her hair would be afterwards but I'm thinking the coconut oil (pre-bleach) mask helped minimize the dryness. I rarely read 5 star reviews but I hope someone reads mine. This was good stuff! I'd buy again. Read more

Love this stuff! First of all, I have medium/dark brown hair that's been dyed hundreds of times. I did TWO rounds of this, with clairol 'pure white' 30 vol. developer, followed by toning with Wella T18 'lightest ash blonde', and now have the platinum/white blonde of my dreams!!! AND with very little damage to my hair. I did some research beforehand, and found that some people recommended covering your hair in coconut oil before bleaching to lessen the damage that could be done. I was hesitant about this at first because I didn't think it would bleach through the oil very well, but I'm SO glad I used the oil anyway, because it saved my hair and STILL gave me gorgeous color! Also I did apply this to my roots/scalp and had no burning at all. Lots of itching for the first 5-10 minutes, but that's about it. I've always bought box bleach kits from drug stores when bleaching my hair in the past, but was left with orange hair every time😠 This was my first attempt going blonde with professional products, and i couldn't be happier with my results. Definitely kicking myself in the ass for not going blonde this way a long time ago!😂 Amazing product! Would recommend this to anyone😊 Read more

I bought this bleach after seeing a lot of YouTubers using it and decided to give it a shot. It worked great! I have very dark brown hair and it lifted my hair instantly. I followed it with wella T18 toner for a platinum look. I’m very happy with my results and will keep buying this product. Read more

Dark brown to ash blonde in a week- little damage! The large amount of product is necessary for a big project like this. Very economical! Smells fine! use a mini whisk for easy mixing. The only down side is the blue hides the results a bit and you may be inclined to wash off sooner than you should because it masks the results. Not sure if I am brave or a fool for dying my hair myself. All colorist I consulted said it couldn't be done for the summer and would fry my hair. This is how I did it and the products I used and the knowledge I gained. How I did it:1. Day 1:Started with dark hair, natural color but used boxed dye every month to cover a few grays( color a 2 on the color scale)2. Day 1: 30 min Bleach bath- lightened 1 to 2 shades( resulting color 3)3. Day 1:Foils with L’Oreal Quick Blue, 30 developer, Oleplex 1- lightened 3 shades, left on for 45 min( results 6 on the color scale)4. Day 2: 30 min Bleach bath- lightened 1 to 2 shades (resulting color 8)5. Day 3: Foils with L’OrĂ©al Quick Blue, 30 developer, Oleplex 1, left on for 45 min- lightened 3 shades( results 10 on the color scale)6. Day 4: color correction(reds and yellows) with a homemade color correction concoction created by mixing Olaplex 2, Color filler and Ardle red and gold corrector drops( they are purple). Put this mixture on and left it on for 3 hours. Results: Ash color. Then toned it with Wella T-18 left on for 20 minutes. Very happy with the results. I have no hair loss or damageProducts:1. Neutral Color Filler 16oz2. Olaplex 1, 2 and 33. Aquaphor4. L’OrĂ©al quick Blue Powder5. Ardel Color correcting drops red gold corrector6. Wella Color Charm Liquid Toner T-187. L’OrĂ©al 30 Volume developer8. Pure organic Coconut Oil9. DIY Hair Dye kitKnowledge needed:1. Know the hair color wheela. You can only lift hair about 3 to 4 shades in one bleaching sessionb. Know the opposite colors to tone out unwanted shades2. Understand the components of damaged hair and how to correct ita. Is your hair dry or devoid of fillers( protein and Keratin) This is vital to the treatments you will make to the damage you do. Too much protein, your hair will break3. Know how to test your hair for damage before you begin and test it after every process4. Understand “hot roots” and avoid them5. Know the difference between Toner and dye6. Understand that you can further damage your hair with protein fillers as they can make the hair brittle which will cause breakage, however protein filler can be a miracle cure for hair that won’t take color, or grabs color unevenly. Balance with moisture treatments .7. Know which oils can penetrate the hair shaft and add moisture and know which ones add moisture and deposits proteins. Coconut oil is awesome for hair but also deposits proteins so be careful if your hair is brittle and breaking. Good moisture adding/non-protein depositing oils are Caster, Jojoba, Moroccan, argon8. Know how to do a ‘bleach bath’ ( equal parts shampoo, bleach, developer and 1/8th oz. of Olapex 1 per 3 OZ of bleach bath)9. Bleach on Oily hair. Don’t wash your hair, alternatively sleep in a coconut mask and then bleach your hair with the coconut oil on. It protects your scalp and the oil and protein from the oil fortifies hair during bleaching. The oil will not affect the bleaching process10. Use a protein filler after you have bleached out your color, before you tone or dye. It helps the color pick up evenly and leaves hair shinny11. Use Aquaphor on all exposed skin including forearms*****If you find this review helpful please indicate on the review so I know all this detail helps people. Read more

Omg I cannot stress this experience enough! I have been bleaching my roots for awhile and never had any problems until I decided I will try this powder! I have mixed it with 30 vl developer and since the description on this powder says “on and off scalp application I applied it my roots. Ten minutes later I felt incredible itching and burning. I felt it was not normal and when I rinsed off I saw my raw skin. It gave me severe burns and I was left with red hair roots since I couldn’t keep it any longer. I never had any allergic reaction with any bleaching products until I tried this! So be very careful! Read more

Yes, this will work on Asian hair. After 3 times of bleaching, you will go from black (level 1) to yellow hair (level 9-10 ish) (I included here the picture after the third round of bleaching).Yes, it will dry and irritate your skin so minimize skin contacts, use lotion on scalp and skin area around hairline, wear gloves, cover your neck, etc.. I only used 20 volume for on scalp application. 30 vol with this will result in scalp bleeding.I used the same ratio on the tub. For every gram of QB, use 2 g of developer (for ex, 10 gram QB: 20 gram developer)Afterward, I rinsed the bleach out conditioned with ion repair. If you're feeling irritated/itchy/hot, then shampoo and condition again. Read more
