This is a very glossy shiny lipstick, the shade that I got is pretty but moves around too much on my lips, if I press my lips together you can see where the product has been pushed. It's just the nature of the formula i supposed since it is almost like a balm or gloss. Read more

I couldn’t wait to purchase these when they came out. I was a fan of the Color Riche Balm, and these looked like a great upgrade.The packaging is gorgeous, looks high end, but there’s no real weight to it. It is, however, heavier than the original Balm.I purchased shade 900, Glossy Fawn, which is a sheer warm peachy-brown nude. It’s almost identical to shade 819- Caramel Comfort from their original Balm line. Glossy fawn is just a touch more opaque, and by that I mean that, where I would use two coats of balm with Caramel Comfort, I only need one of Glossy Fawn.I have medium, olive-tone skin and this color works very well on me- does not wash me out in the least bit.These lippies are made to be very moisturizing and a glossy, so the wear time is not long. They’re very easy to reapply, so I don’t really have a problem with that. It’s an easy color to throw into your bag when you don’t necessarily need to have the intensity, nor the longevity of a liquid lip. This is the first drugstore brand of lipstick I have worn that has Zero smell or taste. Really creamy formula and this shade is not patchy. My only issue, which is my bad, is that this color is an exact match to my natural lip color; so, I can't really see it when I'm wearing it. So I’m currently really loving these lipsticks! Extremely comfortable on the lips. I usually only wear glossy lips. Hate anything matte and this adds the perfect amount of shine. Nice amount of color.Bought these because Emily Noel was raving about them. Bought the shades dazzeling doe and glossy fawn! Dazzeling doe was more of a grey taupe nude. Im 46yo and not ever used drug store anything makeup skin care, but since this lockdown, I've been buying all drug store, why not just see what the hype is about and play around..I have to admit, I'm so glad that I did!I have not been disappointed! This is such a gorgeous shade, and the formula is like no other! I am absolutely obsessed with this lipstick! Longevity, eh, but that's ok. I have zero problem having to apply as often as I need to. Which isn't really all that often.I highly recommend this lipstick, I cannot articulate the formula properly, like I wish I could, but it's not drying at all, not full, not glossy but the perfect balance of color moisture, and shine. My new go-to lippy at the moment. Love just about everything about it including the fact that it doesn't have that usual icky L'Oreal smell.Please keep in mind that lipsticks this glossy just can't last; anyone who's ever worn lipstick before knows this. It's super-juicy and yes it will come off on anything and everything, so eyes wide open here. Don't "take a star off" because it ended up on your coffee cup, or, because you didn't like how the colour looked on you. We all take a chance here with online ordering and for some it works out. If it didn't suit your skin tone, it's unfortunate but no fault of the lipstick, just an unlucky guess. It's a decent quality drugstore lipstick!That said, Varnished Rosewood is a very pretty colour that seems would suit many fair-skinned complexions. I love this series, I have a bunch of them, they are on the lips so beautiful and juicy. Very hydrating. A lot of colors are flattering like Glossy Fawn, etc. Enamel Red is surprisingly pigmented, I love this Snow-Whitey red color. For the brighter colors you might need to look often to reapply.I bought Vanished Rosewood on Amazon because I can't see it in drugstores, this became one of my favorite lipstick, my lips but better, very pretty. I really like this lipstick! It's smooth and creamy with just the right amount of gloss. It smells nice, comes in super cute packaging, and I lucked out and got the perfect shade for me (Varnished Rosewood). I did tons of views on images and youtube to check out this colour to see if it was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a bright coral colour with undertones of pink in it and on the images it looked more pink ... it is pretty much a peachy coral colour which I have tons of lipsticks in... so not that I won't use it but it's not the brighter version of what it is.
