Shiny, soft, subtle rose gold color!Note: My hair was colored about 6-8 months ago and I did not pre-lighten before using this dye.I attached a before picture to show what color my hair looked like compared to the box. I had medium-ish blonde hair at my ends, with natural dark blonde at my roots. My hair is longer than my collarbone, so I needed 2 boxes of dye (although honestly if I could get 1 and 1/4 it would be enough!). One bottle's cap came off in transit and I did lose a little bit of product, but I had more than enough between the 2 bottles. Once you mix the product, be aware that the smell is VERY STRONG (as in it made me cough). Make sure you are in a well-ventilated area or step out of the room a few times if need be.I applied the dye to my roots first and then worked my way to the ends, leaving it in for 25 minutes. Don't be alarmed when the dye goes from a bright pink to a deep red (see picture)- it won't turn out anything like that color! The conditioner makes your hair soft and shiny; however, after I used it in the shower during the second wash, I realized it has glitter in it! I did end up with glitter all over, so next time I'll know to be more careful about rinsing it out.The color looks different in every light. The picture with my sunglasses was the same day of application after it dried. You can see a subtle color change at the tips. The last 2 pictures are with and without flash after the second wash. My hair was not damaged at all and did turn out soft and shiny. The "rose" part of the rose gold is a little more subtle than I thought it would be, but I didn't want it too pink either so I'm pretty happy with it. Oddly enough, my original dark blonde roots seemed to lighten more than the rest of my hair, so I notice the pink the most at the roots. I'm hoping that the pink will stay in my hair as I continue to wash it- I will update if it fades faster than it should.Overall, I'd recommend this color for a subtle yet fun change to your blonde hair!UPDATE: If you have to wash your hair every day or two like me, expect this color to rinse out in about a week. First off, the initial color on bleached blonde hair that this kit gives would be better named Sunset Red, because WOW. Very intense. If someone is looking for an initial shimmery pink tone, then maybe leave it on less time, as I left mine on exactly one hour, it even colored my darker roots and the hairs on the shaved portion of my head. The scent is only slightly chemically, but overall very good scent for a hair color product.I waited about 5-7 days after bleaching, shampooing once in between there, and left at least 2 days after shampooing before I used this product on my hair. The mix initially stays very pale pink or white in the bottle, but eventually it changes to an orange, pink, red, and then a purple color, and in that time you can see it change color on your hair very quickly. Definitely follow all the steps, including using a little warm water to lather up the color before rinsing entirely, it pulls any dye off of your scalp and helps the color spread evenly. I enjoy using the shimmering conditioner once or twice a week, and after a little more than a month the color is still holding up well, even with semi-regular shampooing. This dye spreads far, so one box is enough for shoulder length, thick hair. I did buy another box, plan on using portions at a time for root touchups! Stuck at home with Corona. My hair is getting on my nerves. It's dull, needs a color treatment. I'm booooored. Sally Beauty is closed. Whatever.Amazon to the rescue. I haven't used Feria since I bought that horrible "mauve" color that turned my hair a purple black color. Ew.I chose a different shade! Rose gold. It turned out much better. I have medium/dark ash blonde that gets a little brassy. I maintain that with a DIY toner.After a week or so the rose color faded. I was left with a decent gold blonde color. It's probably time to recolor but this did the trick for $10.Let's talk about the smell. Have you ever smoked pot in your mom's basement and had to cover up the smell with the most obnoxious smelling thing that you could find? Feria would be that obnoxious thing. Ah, if ONLY you could get the color on the box.....thus the trouble with BOX hair color. On my 60 year old, bleached last fall, usually demi perm colored hair, it produced a MARKEDLY 2-tone effect, and not a pretty one. I started out 10 minutes ONLY extra on roots, as my ends are porous and tend to really grab color. Processed overall for about 40 minutes, and it looked pinky-pink on my hair as processing, but the ends were a different color. Even more so dry. Use of clarifying shampoo not enough to wash out the overcolored roots. My issue is, I can't get my gray roots to accept light colors, so end up going darker and darker trying to cover the gray. Well, my roots really grabbed this stuff. If it was one color, either ends or roots, I would've been ok with it, but as it is I bleached it out with Schwarzkopf Color Ultime 15.0 Extreme Lightener. Now, that stuff is the BOMB! Oh, and Feria REALLY damaged my hair. For 2 weeks I used masks and treatments, even overnight, and it finally felt good before I lightened it again. Well feria is my favorite brand of at-home hair color and I've been coloring my hair for over 25 years this particular shade did not work well for me. the top of my hair came out a nice beautiful golden color and the bottom of my hair is platinum White. The rose tone barely showed up and the results are not even at all. I will not be purchasing this shade again I'll get back to my regular shades. I have used other brands of pink hair dye that came out way better than this one. This is the first time I have been disappointed with feria. Read more

First things first, it smells super strong and horrible. I really wanted to love this product but my experience was meh at best. I bought two boxes and used both at the same time just to make sure I didn't miss any parts, but I needed only 1 + 1/3 for hair that's about 6 inches below the shoulder. They say, in very tiny characters somewhere on the side of the box, that it's not intended for bleached or highlighted hair. That being said, the highlighted parts of my hair are the only ones where the colour actually took, in a bright blue hue, which I still thought was nice. It rinced right out of the non treated hair. Maybe if I had my whole head bleached at least I would have had a nice all over blue colour. But even if that would have happened, after a couple washes the hair that was coloured blue turned ash-grey. So I don't recommend it much. I ended up buying a semi permanent colour from another brand and that worked miracles. Read more

Decided to color my white hair to a smoky gray color, and it looks nice. The color stays well. If you have light roots and darker bottoms, it darkens on your hair, but not too dark, so unless you hair is stripped of all color, it won't look like the model on the box. I recently decided maybe I'll just go blonde, and that color lightened my hair, was blond for about a week, now it's almost white again. At least this particular colorant stays. Read more
