It's all good! Colored over my grey/white flawlessly and I am a natural redhead which is not an easy cover! Nicely conditioned pre and post color. Not smelly. If you are a seasoned out of the box user like me but are not happy with the new Clairol product, give this one a try. To be fair, I did reach out to them but they just sent me a coupon for more of the same and suggested I call them for tips. Read more
I used this for the 1st time and was amazed at the natural, beautiful red it created. The color is like a smoldering ember and it was so easy to apply on my long hair using the bottle comb applicator. It comes with a pre conditioner for the ends so they don't get damaged and post conditioner to last until your next apply. This is my favorite by far! Read more

I have been a fan of L'Oreal hair products for many years, and have never been disappointed with their performance, Excellence is no different. After having spent many years with "not found in nature" red hair, I decided that I wanted to try a dye that would cover the brassy red of my faded Feria violet, complement my natural hair color as well as covering up the gray hair that has started to make an appearance.I was not disappointed, this color blends and covers very well, and the cream was very easy to use, and a lot less drippy than the gel form of other dyes. The pre-color serum is an amazing addition to the dye package and should be included in more dye kits, I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any additive to lessen the peroxide odor, but Feria is really the only dye that I've found to have that, so I'm not counting that against this dye. Also I'm very happy in that I suspect that when my roots start to grow out, there will be very little difference between this color and my natural color, so while I intend to continue dying away the gray for a little while longer, if I'm not able to cover my roots as quickly as I'd like, I'm not longer concerned about a major difference between the dyed and the natural color. My natural hair is dark brown and my hair got some red tones too. I attached the photo so you can see. it is beautiful color and lots of complements BUT didn't cover the gray hairs and not last long. Read more
