The water is terrible where we currently live (central Louisiana). It's literally the color of urine (see photo). It leaves a yellow/orange stain on everything and it also smells like mold, so after a shower, we smell like mold too! It's great. I hate living here and I can't wait to move in 8 months (military).That being said, I for one appreciate the scent of this shampoo because it helps mask the awful stench of shoddy water and almost fools me into thinking my kid is actually clean. It’s not easy to find a good shampoo plus conditioner that’s also tear free for babies and toddlers! I use this on my 4 year old daughter because she has sensitive skin. The shampoo itself is creamy is makes hair silky. It smells so good like strawberry! This is way more hydrating than the previous suave kids shampoo plus conditioner (in the frozen Elsa bottle) we were using! I only wish this came in a bigger size with a pump! I initially purchased it just for my toddler but my other kids love the smell so much they started using it! This shampoo is definitely tear free because like I mentioned my daughter is very sensitive and this doesn’t bother her eyes. I wish I would’ve purchased this a long time ago because her hair looks much better with this than it did with the suave kids. I only use this on her and then when she gets out of the bath I follow up with a leave in conditioner/detangler. I don’t have to use the leave in conditioner, it’s not needed with this shampoo, but it’s just added softness. Sometimes we will forget to use the leave in conditioner and her hair is still nice and silky! I would definitely recommend this for all babies, toddlers and kids! Ok I'm a dude with long hair and I like strawberry shampoo, so there. I used to use this L'Oreal shampoo, then for some reason I switched to Suave Kids Smoothers but they changed the formula and now it smells bad.So I'm back to L'Oreal, which also happens to be cheaper because everyone is boosting the price of Suave. L'Oreal smells like actual strawberries. It does NOT smell like chemicals (ya I know strawberry smell is a chemical but ya know what I mean). It does not leavy my scalp itchy, or cause any irritation. It has enough conditioner that my long rock-star hair is not a ball of frizz after I towel dry it.L'Oreal is a French company, and you know Europeans are tighter when it comes to chemicals in things like cosmetics and consumer products, so that's a good thing. This is made in Mexico, but L'Oreal opened the Mexico plant in 2012 and supposedly maintains their high standards (kind of like your Made in China iPhone - still high quality).1 star subtracted because, even though there's no scientific evidence that things like Red 33 dye is harmful, there should be no reason to put in shampoo. Teach your kids that butter isn't yellow, salmon isn't bright pink, and Cap'n Crunch's Crunchberries are in reality light brown.Update 8-2020. The formula has changed. Previously it was moderately thick, and had a good strawberry smell. The new formula is super runny, smells like 'something fruity' although not strawberries, and it is almost white. But it still has Red 33 dye. L'Oreal: If you're going to make white shampoo, just take out the red dye. And take out all the water, I'm buying shampoo, not bottled water. It's so watery, I'm dropping it from 4 stars to 2 stars. I'll probably look elsewhere for shampoo. Read more

I used to always have trouble finding the best 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner for my daughter until we found this. I don't like to use adult shampoo and conditioner. She has curly, thick hair and this helps with detangling and smells like our favorite fruit! Win! Read more
