The "white" is fine, but the "light pink and medium pink" are barely distinguishable, I'm unable to see any difference between them at all.. I highly recommend something on the lids first, to make it stay on, yet you still won't see the difference between light pink and the other pink which is "Barely there in color"... Like many others who reviewed, the applicator was totally dry rotten and crumbled into pieces on first use. Then the eyeshadow “holders” came unglued and fell out of the case. Then the latch broke, so I had to 1.) get a new applicator; 2.) glue the eyeshadow holders back into the case; and 3.) hold the broken case together with a rubber band. I think this batch is really old and has been sitting in storage somewhere for a loooooooong time, or it is counterfeit. Pretty pricey for this level of quality control. That said, I love the “Army Brat” colors, nothing wrong with the shadow. I would not buy from this seller again however. Read more

I'll start with saying something good. Compared to the stores, the price is decent. And the colors are wild. However I found that these must be really old and probably have been sitting around a while. Women, it's kind of like when you're younger and you go thru your grandma's or your mother's old makeup. The applicator brush just disintegrated, that's the foam at the tip. And then the makeup doesn't even apply very well and also falls apart. When I look at this I realize it's got that old school gold outline, which is probably like from the 90s. You don't even see this in the store anymore. So I'm going to be returning mine. Read more

this is my second purchase of this quad and I love and appreciate it for what it is. This is a perfect fresh face nude neutral eyeshadow. Is it highly pigmented ??No it is not-I have a ton of pallets that have buttery pigment..try to get a no makeup makeup look with those is rough. This is all matte, I woke up like this eyeshadow.its a lot dryer than most of Loreals eyeshadows but I don't get a ton of fall out and no creasing they blend into each other without looking muddy. If your new to makeup it's almost impossible to mess up your eyeshadow with this quad, it's not too warm or cool your eyes but better. Read more

The colors are great and well pigmented, but the case arrived broken and scratched. If it weren’t sealed, I would think it was used! The lid doesn’t close so I have to store it in a small bag with my make up. Oh well. The gold shadow wqas all broke. It was entirely unusable and had to be trashed. I did order other itemes at the time but apparently they thought it didn't matter if they just literally threw the small make-up item in. It is small after all. The quality of "L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Shadow Quads, Sophisticated Angel" was exactly what I wanted. The powdered shadows go on smoothly and evenly; they do not flake off into your eyes. I found the shadow lasted throughout the day. The case is compact and fits easily into your bag; scratches are to be expected, so I did not downgrade the product because of the condition of the case.The colors were a surprise. Although these are soft and subtle hues that do not scream "look at me", they were not as they appeared in the product photo. Rather than the soft tones of gray I expected, "L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Shadow Quads, Sophisticated Angel's" colors proved to be green. Because the colors were ones I had forgotten to order, I was not disappointed and kept the "mistaken" purchase.L'Oreal has made using this product very easy for those of us who are not expert make-up artists. The back of the package shows the manner and order in which the various colors should be applied to create a modern "eye". The top color, as shown in the photo, is a soft, pale celery hue and enhances without "popping". The white is to be applied above the eye, under the brow; I found it to be a bit obvious. It needed to be buffed some to reduce its depth. The second color from the top is a khaki hue; it does not appear as dark when applied as it does in the picture. The deep brown at the bottom of the palette works well, for me, as a liner when applied with the side of the included applicator. I do wish there were multiple applicators included with "L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Shadow Quads, Sophisticated Angel".If you prefer a soft, subtle eyeshadow colors and are looking for something in the green-family, you may want to consider "L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Shadow Quads, Sophisticated Angel". The colors are as expected, not very pigmented and fairly sheer but still buildable and pretty. Only issue I have had were the pads of the applicator brush both broke apart and crumbled, essentially disintegrating, upon its very first use. I suggest having make up brushes or disposable applicators on hand just in case. Read more
