The best thing I can say about this is that the charger works. Unfortunately, the auto clamp "feature" is really just a gimmick that just creates problems by trying to "solve" a non-existent problem. Here are my biggest gripes:1. Within jut a few weeks, the auto clamps had already started malfunctioning. Most of the time when using it, the clamps will not actually close tightly around the phone. They seem to stop closing almost as soon as they detect contact, which results in the phone not actually being held securely. Oftentimes, I'll have to retry this process multiple times before it finally closes properly.2. The clamps do not save a bit of juice to reopen when the car is turned off. So, if your car also turns off power to the outlets when the car, itself, is turned off, that means that your phone will be stuck in the holder. To remove it, you'll have to turn your car back on, press the button on the side of the cradle to trigger the motors to open, and then turn your car back off.3. Speaking of that little button, it is located just to the right of the phone. This is a problem, because I am constantly hitting it whenever I reach over to interact with my phone, meaning that the clamp will often just open right up when I try to select a podcast, change tracks, etc. I didn't expect this to happen, but it does because you instinctively wrap some of your fingers around the cradle to stabilize it when interacting with it, and the button is in just the wrong place.4. One big reason you have to wrap your fingers around the cradle to stabilize it is because it's so unstable! The phone wobbles up and down incessantly when the vehicle is in motion. It isn't too crazy, but it's certainly enough to be noticeable and annoying.Overall, I wouldn't buy this product again. By adding the gimmicky auto clamp feature instead of using a perfectly functional manual clamping system, they complicated the item unnecessarily and created additional problems that would otherwise not exist. Biggest pro for this is the CD slot mount. It never, ever falls out. Second: the phone will never slide out of the mount, because, besides for a strong grip, it has a support for the phone bottom as well. Cons are slow charging: when certain apps are in use, they drain the battery faster than it can charge, as opposed to my wire charger. Another con is that the release sensors are too sensitive! Any time I try to adjust the angle of the mount, or if I need to press a physical button on my phone which requires me to grip the phone or sometimes even if my hand happens to get too close to the release button, whoop! Fortunately the phone does not fall down when this happens because the bottom is resting on the base.I also cannot currently figure out how to adjust the height of the base support. This can potentially be serious, since the side grips must NOT get too close to the power button on the right side of my phone, and the only way to make sure of that is by adjusting the location of the phone bottom. It worked really good at first. It provided normal charging - not fast charging to my Note 20 5G. After 3 months the connection on the back came loose and would not tighten back up, which cause the whole unit to drop forward and make the phone not sit right to properly charge and make me have to constantly reposition. I am finally giving up on this device. I cannot recommend this device to anyone. Read more

The box is a little flimsy, but all the pieces were packed well and undamaged.The installation is very easy and seamless. The CD insert just the right size and apparently unused slot:)My iPhone won't be overheated anymore sitting on the front window and won't block the view.The operation itself needs a bit of adjustment, I used to push the side buttons and here you need to touch if at all:)After a few minutes, it looks and feels very comfortable.Can be used for wireless charging and all other phones too. I ordered one in August then it started cracking around the screw head. So I returned and they sent me a replacement. I should have just gotten my money back and something different because now, end of October, after the return window has closed, the replacement has broken completely off in the exact same place as the returned one started cracking.Now I’ve gotta spend money looking for a replacement. my old iphone xs max charges fine but my brand new iphone 12 pro max does not charge. so either this thing is broken or my iphone is broken. the motorized action is pretty cool but the grip is not very strong and you can easily pull the phone out when its closed. i'm sure if you drive over a bump it will fall out. but im not going to test it since i can't charge my phone anyways.... Damaged CD sweep on Cd player; warped LED on radio when installed. To be fair this may just be an issue 2007 Toyota Highlanders, but this was my experience.One other issue: Swivel ball is on phone cradle, cannot change out CD connector for different one except included vent connector (which is too heavy for Toyota vents). I've had this item for 6 weeks and it has now broken, as you can see in the attached pictures. This item has been great apart from the very weak piece of plastic that is clearly not strong enough to hold the charging cradle and a mobile phone without it snapping! Since it was first fitted into the car using the CD slot bracket it has bounced and wobbled even on a flat smooth tarmacked road. This very small weak bit of plastic is the only downfall to this product!! Read more
