*** UPDATE: i gave these specific banana clips too much credit. Not sure why, but the base of these don't snap together as tightly as most others do-- therefore, the two sides of the clip tend to unsnap in mid application or become too loose after 30ish minutes of wear. This isn't the case for most banana clips I've used in the past. Dropped my star rating from 5 to 2. : /Standard banana clip. I haven't had any issues with these. The length is perfect, maybe 5 inches? If you've worn these clips for awhile, then you already know they're bound to unsnap on both ends every once in awhile. Just snap one side back into place and you're good to go. :) Read more

The clips are made great and look pretty. I have bought a lot of ponytail clips trying to find one big enough for my very thick hair. No luck so far but gave these clips to friends and they love them. Read more

These are the worst I have gotten. I can’t even get them open. They’re soooo hard. Both sides (top and bottom) are equally tough to open and close. I hate leaving bad reviews but these honestly suck so bad. I won’t b able to use them but given the price I’ll just take the loss. And they didn’t send the head band which at the very least I could have probably used that, but not even. Read more

Very disappointed. Out of the package of three banana clips, two do not open at all. At all! The third is easy enough to open and close, but it does not hold my long, medium thick hair, whether straightened or left wavy. Slips loose quickly. The original clips from the 80s/90s pulled so tight it was like a mini face lift! LOL. These do not compare at all. Read more

I ha e looked for banana clips for a long time! These are almost as good as the ones from the 90's. The only problem I found, is they don't have a ball joint. So they can pop apart. But I love how they keep my hair up. Read more
