If you're a parent you know - toddler pillows are too small, adult pillows are too thick. The pillow solves the problem perfectly by letting you remove as much stuffing as you need to make it just right. The pillow is slightly smaller than an adult size, which I didn't think made a difference but it does - it's just the right scale for a 6y/o. I wish I had seen this when he was 4 when he was already outgrowing his toddler pillow.I especially love that it's organic cotton and that the zipper access means I can adjust the loft easily. Some people mentioned that they were concerned about some tiny black "seeds" but these are just cottonseed husks and they aren't harmful and they are there because they don't get bleached out so there's no reason to be concerned. You should be worried if there aren't any specks because it likely means the manufacturer used bleach.This is a DEFINITE recommend. My son sleeps super comfortable at night now. Read more
I love the materials inside and out on this pillow. I did make some adjustments and took some filling out to conform to my needs having neck pains. I will keep the filling for future use if needed. I saw one review about pillow having mold because of some tiny dark spots that clearly state and show in picture form that its natural unbleached cotton. So don't let that review deter you like it almost did for me. Its a healthy/ adjustable pillow and I love love. Bought two and going to get another. Great family company to work with. I got this pillow for my 2.5 yo daughter. I picked it because it is made of organic cotton, and it has a zip to allow to remove the excess of filling.well to adapt to her neck/head height i needed to remove a lot of the filling.So, while I think the pillow as is is not meant for small children, it is great it is adjustable.She hasn't used it yet, and my concern is with the amount of filling I removed and the size of the envelope, I wonder if the filling is not going to pushed on the sides and leave an empty space where her had will be due to her moving during her sleep. This pillow is perfect for what I was looking for; it's bigger than the typical toddler pillow, but not nearly as big as a standard. It has a zipper to add/remove filling, so you can make it fit your need. I needed a pillow case along with the pillow so I contacted the seller, and he was extremely prompt with his reply, and sent me a lovely pillowcase within days. I ordered this pillow because my 9 year old kept coming off of his pillow at night. I wondered if maybe it was too big and too high for him. I ordered this pillow in the middle size. When it came I had him lay on it and I removed a little bit of stuffing until he said it was comfortable. I check on him before I go to bed and every night since having this pillow he is on the pillow when I go in. He can turn over and be at the other edge of the pillow easily also which is great! I wish this pillow was a few dollars cheaper, but my toddler does love it! It’s soft and cozy and you can’t beat having the ability to take out some of the stuffing (or add more in) so that it can fit your exact comfort level. I took out quite a bit of the stuffing for my 27-month-old, but I know I’ll add more back in as he gets bigger. It’s the perfect size for his crib as he often moves around his blankets and pillow as he sleeps. Usually his head is on it, but sometimes I see him hugging it too. Read more
