Very happy so far. Was used on skin tear for a bed bound person. Area was red and very slow to heal. After 12 hrs area was more a pink color. 2 days later tear is visibly closing and light pink. Usually it take over a week to two weeks to get this healed. I only use a tiny bit to cover the area. There's so much ointment that it will last for a very long time. The price is high but the small amount used will make it well worth it. Plus this stuff is more powerful then anything I've seen.Update day 3. Area is gone, fully healed over. I can't believe it. I wish they had this in the nursing homes.Update again- we had nurses in our home for bit to help us and they were surprised at how fast a small scratch healed up. They actually requested information on this because they had another client that nothing was working on healing a bed sore.2 yr update: my family still uses this. I am a sucker for a miracle cure for a large open wound I've been hospitalized for -- I just want it to heal. So I was willing to pay the outrageous price. But, I applied it first to some skin so dry it bleeds, then covered with a cotton bandage overnight. The results, with all due respect to all the rave reviewers, assuming they are legitimate, indicated that this is nothing more wonderful than congealed sesame oil with some herbs tossed in. My issues:1. It makes you smell like toasted sesame oil.2. When I use it as directed on some skin overnight it does next to nothing to heal the skin.3. When applied a second day, it again makes an oily film, stinks, and does not help heal the bleeding wounds. It only slightly ameliorated the rough skin, as indeed any vegetable oil would do.You'd be better off, if you believe in such natural remedies, to buy sesame oil and apply it yourself. I am glad I did not apply it to my large open wound -- I have no evidence from the packaging whether this is created in sterile conditions or in someone's kitchen, and I am terrified of reinfecting this wound. We have been using this in a home nursing situation for quite some time with good results for reversing skin tearson tailbone area. Also, I have been doctoring a stasis ulcer on my leg which has been very painful and discouraging. While doing all advised by doctor for about a month, I recently ordered a small jar of LMNOOP for my use. After two days of applying 2-3 times a day, the healing seemed to turn the corner. It looks and feels better and the ointment also helped eliminate the build-up of old skin, etc. I cleaned with a medical spray and blotted with gauze and the excess came off easily. It is also soothing. It may seem pricey, but I think it is worth it. And, I prefer the smaller jars so as not to over-contaminate during longer use. It’s very good on any wound and I did try it a few places on the body safe for kids well but worked on my mom’s bedsore with the correct dressing it was just as advertised.
