I took a chance buying this because I have never seen or heard anything about this product and I regret having done so! This item arrived in a little plastic envelope-no box, not sealed and no directions--other than what was on the side of the tiny tube which could barely be read even with a magnifying glass. Some of the brownish-orange color gel leaked out and was on the tube. I paid almost $20 for a tiny tube of this product. My biggest regret was having thrown it out because I was so annoyed. I realize now that I should have let a clearer head prevail and wrote to you regarding this awful purchase.I'm sure you won't like this review-but it's the truth! Read more

I got this for my wife, who frequently suffers from constipation. We don't doubt that her sedentary lifestyle has a lot to do with it. At any rate, unfortunately one side effect of chronic constipation is occasional anal fissures. Straining really hard to force stool out sometimes tears the delicate skin around the opening of the anus. It's unbelievably painful, and normally extremely slow to heal once that happens. This LMNOOP works really well at healing those splits in the skin. This ointment comes in a green plastic container with a white top. There is an inner pull-up lid as well to keep the ointment from drying out. This container is 1.1 oz (30 g), and it only takes a tiny amount to cover a skin tear. The ointment is solid in the jar but becomes soft and oily once it touches the skin and is very easy to apply. The active ingredient in this ointment is zinc oxide, but it also contains bees wax, sesame oil, cactus extract, and a combination of all-natural Chinese herbs. The blended scent of the sesame oil and of the bees wax is what predominates. Though some reviewers don't seem to care for the scent, my wife and I are fine with it. I would much rather have that natural scent than to have an unnecessary and perhaps artificial fragrance added, especially when the ointment is being applied on an open wound. My wife says the minute she applies it to an anal skin tear, she feels a cooling relief. Instead of dealing with the pain and slow healing that normally takes many days, with this ointment the tear feels better within hours, and she rarely has to apply the ointment more than a day before the anal tear is no longer a problem for her. This ointment currently lists for $27.99, and to my wife, it's worth every penny. Read more

I've honestly been sitting on this review for a few days. I'm not quite sure what to make of LMNOOP Skin Repair Ointment. This is a homeopathic remedy based in natural ingredients. It looks natural. It smells natural. It has ingredients like lavender, sesame essential oil, cactus extract, bees wax, propolis, and others. It arrived in an appropriately sealed 1.1-ounce jar. It initially has a consistency similar to that of a balm, though it's softer and more easily applied than I find most balms to be. It's described as having a variety of uses with nearly all of them existing around skin repair and wound care with a strong emphasis on wounds around the anus or buttocks. This can include pressures sores and this was part of why I was intrigued by the cream. I'm a paraplegic and prone to pressure sores. I'm always looking for new products that can help me ensure skin integrity.I'd initially thought I might use it on a leg pressure sore, but after reading through all the indications I decided not to go this direction.First off, yes this has what I'd call an unpleasant smell. The ad openly acknowledges this and I'd say it's true. I personally don't consider it awful. It's a very natural smell and I tend to be comfortable with natural smells. You use the cream rather sparingly and if I had to use too much of it I'd likely think about if I was going in public - because, yes, the smell is strong enough that I can't help but think someone might notice. The cream has a greenish brown consistency that I actually find pleasing. It moistens in easily and does seem to have a positive impact on areas where I have minor wounds and skin integrity issues. I definitely am seeing a positive change. The directions indicate it's primarily for babies and women, though I would definitely see some use for anyone with skin integrity issues. That said, those with sensitive skin should try it on a small area first.I tend to think the product's page is overselling a bit, though it is indicated that clinical trials have been performed verifying claims such as fighting bacteria three times faster than other products. However, there really is something here that I find positive. The cream applies easily and seems to be effective on bedsores and other areas of skin breakage. I'm a big believer in trying to address wounds myself before heading out to a wound care clinic and this is a product I would no doubt try. The ingredients combine to offer inflammation fighting, infection fighting, and healing of skin (even from burns and scalds). Overall, I'm pleased with it and will continue to use it. Read more

What can I say....I just did not like it. It looks disgusting in the jar.....feels oily and slick, and smells just awful.....like sesame oil that one might use for cooking. In checking the ingredients, sesame oil is a major player in this as well as some other oils that I am familiar with and many things that I have never seen in a product used for this purpose. While the smell alone had me wanting to immediately throw this away, I have it a fair shake on the issue that I had ordered it for and one that is clearly marked on the label as being right up this product's alley. Not only did this not make any difference, it may have made it slightly worse...and...it will totally stain your clothing if the treatable area comes in contact with it.I would never get this again..there are too many other great products out there for these sorts of issues to waste your time with or put up with this. The media could not be loaded.  For $30 .. you get an interesting looking green bottle about 1.1 oz ...It kind of stinks if you get your nose too close. It really makes you wonder what the "Chinese Herbs" are or what cactus.Zinc Oxide is the main ingredient and fairly cheap. Also Bees Wax and Sesame OilUse on abrasions, rashes, skin tears and around cuts ... to aid in itching and healing.I do wish it gave better openness about the ingredients ...And added something to balance the smell.
