I was not paid nor did I receive a free product for this review. I've only started using this gel upon receipt 4 days ago and let me tell you, my face has never looked so smooth or fresh! Since COVID, i've been struggling with hormonal acne, congestion, and stubborn bumps/rashes all over my forehead/cheeks, and nothing has worked! I've spent so much money on amazon buying products other people claimed to have worked for them (IE: Paula's Choice, Naturium, The Ordinary, etc) with no improvement. In addition, everything my dermatologist prescribed (Tretinoin/Clindamycin/Spironolactone) did more damage due to my skin's sensitivity to topical ointments and oral RXs. I couldn't understand why nothing was working, especially since I eat really healthy (I don't even consume sugar or dairy) and I try my best to keep my skincare routine minimal and natural. I even went as far as to completely quit my love of coffee cold turkey for a month in hopes that it would help. It didn't.In a separate matter, I was researching biotin alternatives for hair because high doses of biotin make me break out. It was then that i first learned of silica and it's reaping benefits. Upon searching for silica supplements, I came across this living silica gel and figured it would be good to use on my face since I had just completed a microneedling session and needed the collagen boost. I use this both in the AM/PM, alongside Neutralyze Exfoliating Pads (has Salicylic Acid and Mandelic Acid), and I only wash my face with raw, organic honey. That's it! The product goes on as any gel does, but it doesn't get sticky or tacky at all. I find that I don't need any moisturizer after application because my skin is on the oily side and yet, it's kept my oiliness at bay. My pores have gotten more smooth...I don't know if they've gotten smaller per se, but they definitely don't look as prominent as they used to a week ago. The Living Silica Collagen Booster arrived quickly. It has a nice feel. I’ve only used it about 3 days and have applied it to my face, chest, arms and legs. I hope it will improve my crepey skin. And maybe help my bones. My primary interest is because I have Ehlers-Danlos, a genetic disorder that makes the collagen in my body defective. This was my first order.
