I really love their coconut milk shampoo so decided to try this one. Unfortunately it leaves my hair feeling dried out and rough. I've used it 3 times just to be sure and get the same result every time. Definitely not hydrating. Perhaps it's just me -- I'm in my 70's and my hair is turning gray, so it might just be the wrong formula for long, aging hair. I'll be sticking with their coconut milk formula. Read more

Absolutely horrible!! I washed my hair with this shampoo and my hair not only felt damaged, it also gave me a skin rush! I feel like burning!! Supposedly doesn’t have any damaging components, but I guess they do have them!! I also purchases my little one the baby shampoo, and nope, her hair felt horrible!! I have very curly hair, so I usually shampoo and air dry in the morning, because when I sleep on my curls they become very unruly. Even worse, to my horror, now that I've gone grow if my curls are too unruly, my pink scalp is visible. I've washed my hair with this shampoo three times now. I shampooed last night by way of change. This morning, my hair looked perfect, the curls soft and flatteringly relaxed, no sign of scalp -- and that was before brushing or styling. My hair has always been soft, but now it feels positively cloudlike.This shampoo has very little scent, which is fine by me, a nice texture, and lathers nicely. Very gentle shampoo. I have found that for myself using a conditioner isn't really necessary when using this shampoo. A mild fragrance with a nice lather. I have seen in another review a complaint about it not lathering well enough but I find it lathers as well as any other off the shelf brand shampoo, at least with soft water. The smell is nice and lathers a lot BUT it made my hair fall out, I noticed it was everywhere. I let my husband use it and without mentioning anything to him he told me that his hair was falling out too!! I also purchased the honest company shampoo and it did not make any of my hair fall out. I buy this because it is cruelty free and reasonably priced, but also because it does not strip my hair of moisture. It lathers and cleans well, the scent is fine. I particularly like the type of bottle it comes in, easy to squeeze so you are able to use every last drop. I wish they made bigger sizes, though. Read more
