Good product, helped us announce to our parents. The bow seems unnecessary since it slides around, but at least I was able to move it over to the picture side so that the words were easier to read. The back of the frame is just a solid black, and there are stickers on each side. Good news though! The stickers removed easily (one said "The Grandparent Gift Co.") and didn't leave any sticky residue. This made it easier to keep the surprise a little longer. My only tip is that it might be good to put a sticky note on one side to direct them where to open. It took my dad a couple of turns to find it, and it took my father-in-law about 3 or 4. So for older parents, some direction for the grandparents would be nice. Four stars (I mean, really 4.5 if that was possible) only because the materials inside the frame are just paper and not a heavier cardstock like I thought it would be. I never write bad reviews but I am extremely disappointed. As soon as I pulled it out three parts came apart. They didn't break, it was like they were never glued on. I thought this was so cute and for $20 it should have been much better quality than what I received. I'm sure mine was a fluke, but I wish it hadn't happened on the night of our announcement. This was a beautiful frame. We bought two to give our parents and our ultrasound fit perfectly in the frame. I was not too impressed with the poem in many ways (I’m an English professor so... yea), but my husband thought it was nice. Regardless of me being picky about the poem, it did its job. One of my favorites is the opening of the frame like a book case. So, even though we wrapped it, the opening of the book case frame made it even more exciting and with two sides, it was interesting to see that both of our parents read the poem first before looking at the ultrasound and put the two together. My product arrived damaged in 6 places. Every corner is cracked and one of them has the paint chipped and wood exposed. This was rather expensive for a picture frame and I'm very disappointed that it is so damaged.. Especially since it's a gift and a pregnancy announcement. Read more

i bought this to surprise my mom with mine and my husband's baby news for christmas. After trying for a year for our little one, this was the perfect Christmas gift to use to reveal our little big news. Once my mom unwrapped it all she read was the "Little Grand Baby" up on top then started to cry hysterically! She was so thrilled and happy. PERFECT! Bought three and gave them to the grandparents-to-be who all were in love. The poem is really great also. I usually don't like cheesy stuff, but this was very very sweet.NOTE: one thing I didn't know was the size of the picture. Maybe it says it in the description? 4x6 is definitely too big. I can't remember now how big the opening is, but what I ended up doing was printing wallet sized pictures of the sonogram (4 individual pictures on a 4x6 pic) and then mounted the individual wallet sized pic on black paper that I had and then put this in the frame. It looked really good, so no complaints, but was an unexpected added step. Read more

Hi,Unfortunately, when I received my frame today meant for my father to gift to him on Thanksgiving to announce our pregnancy, the frame came broken and I have to repair it before gifting. I was so excited upon delivery today as it was well packaged and bubble wrap coated and yet still inside the bubble wrap half the frame is completely unstapled/unglued and not together. If I had enough time, I'd return it and send for another but unfortunately within my time constraints, I have to fix it myself.
