I decided to try out liposomal glutathione after reading about some of the benefits. I picked this product because it looked more affordable and had good reviews. I don't have any physical diagnoses, but I tend to have low energy despite eating a low carb paleo diet for years.Usually I don't notice any benefits when taking supplements, and wasn't expecting much from the product. Then after a few days, I could taste metals in the back of my throat and my urine smelled very metallic, so I thought I was bleeding. Nope! I wasn't taking any chelating agents, so this stuff must have helped unclog some heavy metals. It's been about 2 weeks now and no more metallic tastes or smells; that only happened the first few days. I also notice I'm more productive during the day and less interested in procrastinating, so that's a big plus. I'm probably going to experiment with tapering down the product and try to boost glutathione naturally, but I think it's good to have this product on hand to help detox.The taste is fine to me. You get used to the sulfur smell, but honestly, it's not that strong at all. Nothing like skunks, C. diff, natural gas leaks, or mouse necropsies. I was hesantant to buy this product do to lack of reviews, but I thought for the price it was worth testing out. It's best to avoid smelling it, because the taste is not too bad, but the smell is terrible. It smells like sulfer and make sure to have something to sip on afterwards. Since I have only been taking the product once a day for a few days, I have yet to see how well this product actually works as no supplements heal your body of night, but work over time. However, I have a bad case of hyperkeratosis pilaris that nothing had worked on, it's more clear today that it has ever been. I bought this product for my autoimmune disorder that attacks my liver, so the clearing up of my kp was a supprise and a bonus. This brand didn't have as many reviews as the others, but the price seemed more fair. I understand that liposomal glutathione is still fairly niche and consequently pricier than other supplements; therefore, I appreciate this option.Because this was my first purchase of glutathione, I didn't have anything to compare it to. But I noticed within a week that my appetite had decreased. I can't say that my energy drastically increased (this is hindered by the fact that I'm on medications that cause fatigue/tiredness), but I did notice a bit more energy. I had taken glutamate before and had noticed a similar effect--decreased appetite and more mental energy. With this glutathione, the effect was similar, but "cleaner" in a way. More regulated, more subtle, less jumpy.By the end of the bottle, or a month's time, I had definitely lost weight. I am unsure of how much since I don't weigh myself, but my jacket and a skirt I use to measure myself were both looser.Overall, this brand has packaging I appreciate (I'm into the graphic designer's decisions) and seems pure and effective. If I do purchase glutathione again--perhaps I'll do a once a year glutathione replenishment sort of thing--I'll be purchasing this one.Edit:I wanted to compare this to another brand, so I ordered a more expensive and "highly reviewed" brand from Iherb. The Iherb brand is diluted (not concentrated like this one) and contains vitamin c. I do not feel the same effects; nor does it have the glutathione taste I had come to expect (the bad taste)! The brand I purchase was nearly 15 dollars more with shipping, and wasn't as effective.And to update again, I tried one more brand purchased on Amazon; this time, the brand was cheaper than this one--but still liposomal-- which I was dubious of. It is still Setria and has the same taste, though perhaps a bit more pleasant. But honestly, I don't feel the effects from it. So, in conclusion, this is the best thus far as far as efficacy and price, after trying cheaper and more expensive options.And seriously, if you don't like the taste, don't buy liposomal? Buy the less effective pills. If you buy liposomal and it doesn't taste bad, it means it's being cut with a bunch of bad, which I'll pass on. If you're interested in a pleasant tasting one that doesn't work very well, I'll be happy to point you in the right direction, as I already wasted money on that.There's a reason this one is always out of stock. But seriously, people, stop leaving reviews for vitamins you think taste gross. I've seen this on other effective and well-priced vitamins. One sentence reviews saying they taste gross, bringing down overall rating on quality supplements. Can you please stop? Are you my sister's toddlers? You're preventing people from finding or discounting nutritional supplements that may potentially help them because you have the tolerance of a 6 - year-old when it comes to unpleasant tasting foods. The product seems like it's good quality based off of the reviews I've gotten from my mom, who I purchased it for. Unfortunately, I can no longer afford to buy two bottles at a Time. I've bought this bottle of liposomal glutathione about three times now. It's always arrived on time and the taste is consistent. It's definitely one of my favorite products. so i used this with alka gold lemon juice and moringa to flush my liver. it tastes and smells horrible but i drink it seperate in orange juice and its much better that way i think once im done with this bottle i will buy the pills. but it works well . Read more
