This product contains Cyromazine, and insecticide/anti parasitic chemical (same active ingredient as products like cyropro from hikari.) You need to understand how to use Cyromazine correctly (and it’s limitations) to get good results. Cyromazine does not attack all parasites at all life stages. It will not kill everything in one go. You will need multiple treatments to kill an infestation of say, anchor worms. There are other chemicals will similar purposes and somewhat similar mechanisms of action (such as diflubenzuron, sold under the name dimillin x for aquarium use.)Anyways, I was very happy to find this version of Cyromazine for around 10 dollars and next day shipping. I needed a product quickly and none of the pet stores around me carried it. Many of the other products I found online had shipping that would have easily been a week or more. So again, the availability, shipping speed, and the price point were wonderful. Read more

I introduced a live plant to my aquarium and didn't quarantine it for 30 days prior to having it with my shubunkuns. As a result they developed a horrible case of Anchor Worms. This product came in fast and it worked within a week of starting treatments. The first thing I did was removed the carbon filter system. I did a 50% water change with each treatment (It recommends a 25% water change each time). I did see the worms disappear within the first week of beginning but I did see this out for the entire 3 week treatment because I wanted to play it safe. Make sure you dose properly! I definitely recommend this product to help get rid of anchorworms fast! Read more

Well it came in a completely different bottle but the name was the same. The anchor worms died but they didn’t fall out so it gave me the illusion they were still there so I was getting really frustrated. I used a bit more than the recommended and it didn’t hurt them a bit. I took one of my fish out and with some tweezers gently pulled on the worms, they were like jelly and just slid on out, proving that they were dead. I just didn’t want the dead ones all over my tank so I took all of them out. They we’re definitely dead.. just hanging on and looking like they weren’t. Read more

The instructions are ambiguous. Use once a week for 3 weeks. It worked great. Still had to pull the dead anchor worms off the fish though Read more
