I am 5'4 & 1/4" tall. I had hip surgery & cannot bend to apply lotions on my feet or legs...I find if this tool were just 5" longer it would be perfect for someone my height. Anyone taller don't think it would be effective for using it for that purpose. The pad should be curved so the lotion doesn't roll out while you are applying it on your legs. Other than those 2 suggestions, I find it usable but not "perfect" for applying lotions to my feet/legs. Read more

I used this as a replacement handle for the discontinued 3-M Buf-Puf handle. Just add Velcro to the back of the head and you have a replacement handle (VELCRO Brand Outdoor Wide Heavy Duty Strips | 6" x 4" Pk available on Amazon - this is super strong Velcro). Cut the Velcro pad to the size of the applicator head as shown in the picture. There is small tab on the handle that you will need to cut off to allow for the head to be inserted either way. This will allow for the newly attached Buf-Puf to be the correct position. I use this with the handle extended, my wife uses it with the handle folded as she is shorter. Read more

I was very hesitant to order this item at first. Once I did order it and used it, I was so happy that I did make the order. I recently fell and realy hurt my leg. and back. At the point that I could put something on my injuries, I used this applicator and it worked really well. I was surprised that the cream did not slide off as soon as I applied it to the applicator. The "pad" is not rough nor hurtful to use to apply medicine to myself. It was fairly easy to use. The handle folds but when unfolded it is long enough for me to be able to get to my leg and back. It could be curved a bit in my opinion, which is the only objection I have to this item. Also, since there are 2 of the heads, it can be used for 1. feet 2. body or 2 seperate peop;e. I bought this to put suntan lotion on my back and it works perfectly. I read some negative comments, but honestly, I don't understand. I spread the lotion onto the pad (you get 3 of them) and then apply to my back. I guess the hardest part is using a mirror to make sure I apply the lotion all over and trying to navigagte the reverse image. This product works for me. Read more

I love their bath set and expected these heads would be just as satisfactory, but I was wrong. The applicator pads are too firm and and most of the lotion I need to put on my legs ends up off the pad and collected on the side of the "puck". Buy their bath set instead and use the sponge head to apply the lotion... that's what I do. Read more

This lotion applicator sucks in a big way. The material does not allow for the lotion to be rubbed into the skin, when attempting to do so the lotion accumulates on the side of the applicator leaving you with globs of lotion on your body, not massaged into the skin. As good a curved design handle as possible, helped by being foldable, but basically the human form is badly designed for putting ointment or lotion on one's own back. This was solved for Adam when Eve arrived, for companionship and mutual back-slathering. I struggle when Adam's away, and hoped this product would help as, after a lifetime so far of no probs at all, the menopause makes the skin maddeningly dry (younger ladies please be warned). Unfortunately, the applicator pads are too solid and unyielding for an easy job, and a tad too large for any flexibility. Good luck trying to get covered all over, evenly and without mess! Using it standing in the bath or shower is the minimum as regards easy cleaning-up afterwards. The bath is a good place to sit to let any lotion absorb that you do manage to get on you. The whole process is awkward and not that successful, and luckily not a spectator sport.I wish I hadn't bought this. I can't return it as I've used one pad; I'll donate it except for the applicator pad I used (or tried to use), as it comes with two spare pads. Short of finding an Adam or a replacement Adam, my tip to you is to get one of those long thin fabric bands which have a smooth side and a rough/loofah side with handles at each end - you pull from side to side across your back, and move it up and down from one shoulder. The LFJ Body Lotion Applicator is well designed, and easy to use. Surprisingly, the dense foam pads don't seem to absorb any of the lotion, and are efficient at applying the medicated cream lotion, that I'm currently using. It has a long, curved handle that folds in half, for easy storage, or travelling.With the lotion freshly applied to the pad, I can feel it glide over my skin, and then I can feel it starting to drag slightly, as the lotion gets absorbed into my skin. I asked my wife to check if it had applied the lotion evenly, and she confirmed that it had.The three smooth pads supplied, easily push-fit into, or remove from, the handle, making it easy to rinse, and dry them. I personally would have preferred one of them to have a textured surface, to use in the shower or bath, but that is my only quibble.It is not very often that you can purchase something that does everything that it says it will, but this one does. Thought I would give this a go as the reviews weren’t too bad. I suffer from arthritis and I have limited arm mobility. I have an eczema patch on my back which is difficult to reach, and I have tried most applicators on the market. I can now apply cream right where I need it, which gives me some relief. I have only had the chance to use this once so far and was very pleased with the way I was able to apply body lotion to my back, which is always difficult to do on your own. The small hook that was also supplied has enabled me to hang the applicator in my bathroom. The head of the applicator is like a smooth sponge which keeps the lotion on the surface rather than sinking in - two further sponge heads were also supplied for future use, so I'm very pleased with the purchase. Once you get used to how to hold and manipulate this around your back it is easy to use. The pads are smooth so the sun tan lotion went on and spread easily. Great for when I don't have anyone to oil my back for me. The pads being smooth are also easy to clean.It folds up neatly and is easy to pack.This is the 2nd one I have bought it is so good as my wife has mobility problems and finds this ideal for moisturising her back so we bought a 2nd for our holiday home.
