I was so surprised when I recieved this trompo. Its cheap and very light in weight. I remember the trompo I used to play with as a child that it was heavy so you would be able to wind the rope and trhow it on the ground so it would spin. I am affraid to throw it hard as I may brake something as it would fly out of my hand. For 8.00+ something I paid for this 1 Trompo it would have been of a better quality. Just disapointed as I was very excited to share a fun toy with my grandson. Read more

you will need a small washer and a little hammer to fix it so that you can string it, I fixed mine but at this price you shouldn't have to. where the tip goes into the bottom of the top is not right, but I got mine to spin, good luck if you order one. Read more

It has a short blunted metal tip to spin on and comes with a short cord to spin the top with. The top is a bit slick with a shiny finish but if you scuff it up a bit (like I do with all my trompos) the cord grabs just right. It's a beautiful little top. Read more
