I ordered this for my wifey and she likes it for the most part. Here's what she had to say about it:"This flat iron has a sleek design. The pink color is a very pale shade of pink. It comes with nice packaging and a velvety pouch for storage. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. It leaves my hair feeling soft. While I was using it, it would give off faint rustles as stated in the instruction manual. When adjusting the temperature, I have to use both hands to turn the dial because it is not that smooth when twisting the dial (they could have designed it better in my opinion). In terms of straightening my hair, it does a decent job, not as great as my more expensive flat iron from a different brand. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and will continue to use it. This traditional, Lena flat iron, is great for straightening my thick hair.It is easy to use.It is easy to hold.The cord rotates when using, which is always a plus.The ceramic plates do not break or pull your hair.It can make curls, waves or straighten my hair.It will heat up to 450 degrees (digital thermometer). Use the appropriate level for your hair type. I have thick, coarse hair so use the highest setting. There is also an automatic shut-off, which is great for those that tend to leave their appliances on (by accident of course). You no longer have to worry about starting a small fire from leaving your curler plugged up.It uses ion technology, which makes the hair a little shiny/glossy.And finally, this flat iron comes with a convenient sleeve, which is great for traveling and storing.I like it and would recommend it. This is seriously in all honesty my all time favorite flat iron.I’ve owned many in my 42 years, including the expensive brands.This one feels very lux.Lightweight but not cheap.The color appeals to me because I just love pink.But, what has me loving the most is how it glides effortlessly through my thick curly hair.Leaving it looking sleek and shiny.No snagging or pulling. The LENA Flat Iron worked perfectly on my hair. I have fine hair but a lot of it and I was able to quickly go through my hair on about 400 degrees and had it straightened quickly. Tried it again and next day to give a little wave and it did the job ... pretty soft waves. My hair felt soft afterword.The dial is a little tight to move but I like this because you know that temperature is going to mysteriously change partway through straightening your hair (I have others that are so loose that just moving the flat iron around spins the dial).Overall very pleased. 5 STARS Read more
I use 2 different straighteners daily when styling my hair and this has become one of them because of how well it curls. It heats up quickly and I always use 450, because my hair is difficult to style. It's small so it can get those stubborn hairs around your face and I usually have a wave style and this makes perfect waves too. I only need to do one pass and it's perfect. The plates are nice and smooth and don't ever snag my hairs. It's a great straightener for the price. Read more
