I purchased 3 sets of cubes for my grandkid's families. I am pleased with the size, colorfulness, and foam material. I have in mind that they can be used for scout meetings, sleepovers, family time, etc. to stimulate real conversation and communication that builds relationships and social skills. I will update when I get feedback from the families.Update: It's been a while now and I haven't gotten positive feedback about these conversation cubes. I know it sometimes takes a while for a new game to catch on, but so far not really happening. I finally asked and got feedback that the game required reading skills younger kids didn't have so made it not a great game for younger kids. Read more

I did not expect to get six cubes. I assumed the pic was a partial of the package, but this honestly is a waste of money. Great concept, but $10 for 36 questions? Seriously, I could have gotten 100 questions on Teachers Pay Teachers. Read more

I use these with my students who have social skills difficulties and who have a lot of trouble keeping a conversation going. This may be due to autism, brain injury, attention difficulties, or other impairments. The students love to roll their own die and then ask a peer a question. I usually have them keep the conversation going while staying on topic, for at least 3 exchanges (they can make comments or ask inquiry questions to find out more). These can also be used with younger students, just help them to read the question. Great material to have for working with students with special needs. Read more

Make sure you think about reading level before you buy these. I work with some students who are cognitively below average, or with learning disabilities, and they are so excited to play with these.. Until they have to read them. Some of the phrases are at a higher reading level than my kiddos. Maybe a 3rd grade level? But otherwise this is a great and simple product. My students roll by color :) Read more

As a School Counselor, I work with groups daily. The conversation cubes is a great starter to help members get to know each other without direct questioning. Cubes in a small sack the member is able to leave it up to fate on the question they answer. Also works well during an opening ceremony as an ice breaker. Read more

These are exactly what I had hoped for. As you can see they are much larger than I had assumed which is ideal for children. Plus they are made of a soft foam material but of a much heavier style foam which is sure to last awhile. This also adds weight to them to help as they tumble to produce ideal results. Great product! Although I haven't used these yet, I'm quite excited about them! I am planning slumber parties for my lady coworkers, and want to mix them so they are with ones they don't work or normally hang out together, so I thought these would be a way to get to know each other better. Would like for these to be a bit bigger, maybe at least by an inch, but still quite happy with them! Love the rounded corners to eliminate chasing them!! Read more

The conversation cubes are a wonderful tool for any classroom. Excellent for large or small group ice breakers, story starters for writing activities, student-lead discussions, games, and many more. My 5 and 8 y/o grandkids enjoyed them too! Read more

My daughter is 9 and autistic. She recently asked for help with conversations etc as her anxiety can often cause her speech delay to kick in even more than usual. Showed her these and she thinks they are amazing. They are bright, soft and offer a wide choice of questions. Brilliant help for helping with conversation starters or a social boost in confidence. My husband who is in a care home is now finding it difficult to make conversation and his thinking skills are not good, I saw this and immediately thought of him, its plain, simple, easy to handle. The carers will play the "game " with him throwing the rubber dicees and then asking him the question that one of the dice shows. It helps him think and TRY and work out the answer, as the questions are about everyday things that you did in the past few years ago, it helps him to think and to try and say what hes thinking.in a fun way. I purchased these as conversation starters working with vulnerable and looked after children. I've tested them out on my own children ages 6.9.10 and they love them. There are a mixture of questions, some about feelings and other more general questions such as those about food. Read more

I got these to use in 1:1 sessions with children. They are really good ice breakers but some of the questions can prompt a child to open up to more difficult subjects. The children I work with have all asked i bring them to every session. You won't regret buying these and they're a superb addition to your support "toolkit" Read more

Very pleased with these. Have used them in youthwork meetings, and on 1:1 outings with my own kids. The kids love the dice aspect. I mean, you could just ask the questions, but the dice make it a bit more fun and it’s a talking point. Kids open up very easily with the questions. The text is still on mine but I’ve not used them many times yet. Read more
